Never pay more than $600 for the 5 and you can easily find one on sale for under $540

Q: do you need to order the adapter kit for the Glock MOS, that is needed for the rmr version or does this come with the correct screw and bottom?

Yes, you do need the mounting kit for Glocks: NOTE: If selecting an SRO for mounting on the Glock® MOS system or the new Springfield® OSP pistol, a Trijicon Mounting kit (AC32085) is required.

Q: Does it come with a battery?

Yes, cr2032, top access. I have 2 of these, long battery life.

Q: Does this red dot need an adapter plate for my q5 sf match,if so which one,thx in advance?

Looks like Q5's come with multiple plate's for the main red dots, should be 3 that come in the case? Just make sure you use blue loctite and the freshest bits to torque em to the correct ft lbs.
