I use it to read manga
The media could not be loaded. It isn’t limited to just kindle and tiktok, it can work on other apps/websites. Most other phone remotes require IOS 15+, I’m still stuck on IOS 14.6 because I’m on an older iPhone. Although on iPhone, you gotta learn to live with the accessibility touch dot, this is more on Apple than the remote manufacturers. If you leave it on, you’ll always be accidentally tapping it when you meant to be tapping something else, but it’s better than going through the settings each time you wanna read. But honestly, this is 10 dollars and does the same thing as the 20/30 dollar ones, so if you’re on a budget consider this one.

Be Aware of Exactly What This Is Before Buying, eReaders Beware
This isn't a horrible device, but if your goal is to read books or take photos, there are better alternatives out there for similar prices. It's certainly odd that this device and its brethren are the only results for "Bluetooth Page Turner" on Amazon. This device is very simple, but at the same time feels over-engineered. Despite what its controls imply, this isn't emulating a controller or keyboard, it's emulating a mouse. Whenever you press a button, it's moving and clicking a mouse on your device with a preset pattern. This is obviously over-complicated for flipping pages in a book, but if your goal is to do things like scroll through TikTok at a distance, this might be exactly what you'd like.My use case though, was to hook this up to my Android eInk Reader and flip book pages, and for that it's just okay. Depending on the app you're using to read books and how its swipe gestures are designed, the responsiveness of this device is all over the place, and sometimes I'd have to press the button multiple times just to flip the page once because something about the first few "swipes" didn't register right. It's just overly complicated for this use case, when most reading apps will respond to some kind of keyboard input or volume buttons. Battery life is pretty good though, lasting me a month of heavy use on one button battery. In the end, if your goal is to just flip pages in a book, I've since discovered that you'd be better off searching Amazon for "Bluetooth Presentation Remote". These devices are designed for teachers and presenters to flip through powerpoints and slides, but in most cases they'll work just as well to flip pages in most Reading apps, which makes me wonder why they aren't also marketed for such purpose. Though the laser pointers built into many of them are redundant for my purposes. The one I got, while a bit larger than what I'd prefer, is really flexible and even lets you switch the buttons between being mapped to PageUp/PageDown, ArrowUp/ArrowDown, and ArrowLeft/ArrowRight, plus it includes volume buttons, which covers 99% of Reading apps on Android. As for the device this review is for, longevity might be an issue, as it ended up acting weird with my eReader, not pairing, etc, after the first month, even when I replaced the battery. It'll connect to my phone fine, and other bluetooth devices connect fine to my eReader, so I have no idea what's causing the sudden connection issues between the two, but as it doesn't really serve my use case I can't be bothered to ask for support or a replacement.Overall, this is a really fascinating device, but its use cases are even more niche than they would at first seem. If you're looking to scroll through social media and short-form videos, this is literally made for you. But for everyone else, look elsewhere for your page turning needs.

Doesn’t stay connected
I was so excited when I got this. It worked great and made reading at night much easier. After a bit, though, it wouldn’t work. I’d have to go in and connect it each time. Now, I have to ‘forget device’ and go back in and set it up. It takes at least ten minutes every time, and when I just want to sit and read my book, it’s simply not worth it. I’d never recommend this to anyone-unless you enjoy frustrating electronics.

Exelente producto.
Exelente producto lo compre como reemplazo para el antiguo que tenía y que perdi por meterlo sin querer en la lavadora. Indiscutible este es mucho mejor que el que antes usaba. 100 por ciento recomendado funciona con Android y con iPhone.

Keeps disconnecting, scrolls too far. Does work with multiple apps
It's very innovative, and a great idea, but the execution needs some work. This did not work for me. I got it to read e-books, and news articles in a browser. I like to snuggle up under the covers and read before bed, and I wanted to be able to put my (Android) phone or (Kindle) tablet in a dock and not have to stretch my hand up at an uncomfortable angle to keep turning pages or scrolling. On the plus side, it does seem to be compatible with most apps, including multiple browsers and e-reading apps. It seems to send a generic swipe action.Unfortunately, on my phone, it scrolls too far, and you miss several lines of text. This would not matter as much if you are just skimming, or scrolling TikTok, but I generally want to read every word, and not skip several lines. If you hold the button instead of just clicking it, then it will scroll continuously, but VERY slowly. You will need to hold it a long time (several seconds) to scroll down a whole page. My phone is smaller, so maybe this would not happen on a larger device. The buttons are super stiff, especially if you are holding them for several seconds for continuous scroll. I think your finger would get sore from the repetitive motion if you used it for a long time. The buttons are MUCH harder to click than on a mouse, video game controller, etc.The worst part of this remote is that it won't stay connected when you turn it off and back on again. Every time I would go to use it again, I would need to unpair it, repair it, and fight with it to get it to work again. I have several other Bluetooth devices, and none of them have this problem, so it's this device that's the issue, not my phone. Maybe it works better with other kinds of devices. It's not advertised as being able to scroll the appropriate amount in browsers, and it doesn't say the buttons are soft or easy to click, so I could have forgiven it for that. However, I'm not willing to fight with it to try to get it to connect every time I want to use it. I returned it.Instead, I got a Bluetooth mouse to use with my phone, and it's been great so far. It was a breeze to pair, I never have trouble with it disconnecting, and I can scroll with the scroll wheel just like a standard mouse. It's not that much bigger than the remote. It takes normal batteries (not a little coin cell battery like this remote), although there are models that are rechargeable with a USB cable instead. If you ONLY want it to scroll, you can cover the laser with opaque tape and just use it to scroll with the scroll wheel, like a remote. However, it is handy being able to navigate entirely with the mouse (select links, close tabs, switch between tabs / apps, etc.).https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B089VXX2JF

Should have read the reviews
Usually I always read the reviews and this time I figured there was no need. But I ordered this for my wife for her birthday along with a holder for her kindle that clips next to the bed figuring it would make reading easier for her at night. This does NOT work on the kindle paper white. Kind of upset but whatever teaches me to make sure I do my research.

Perfect for Laziness
The only thing I don’t like is having the “accessibility” button on my home screen in order for this to work but it’s perfect for my lazy nights scrolling on TikTok
