GVM. Simple to use. My fault but should have payed extra for audible test instead of just visual.

Very useful electric tester
Shows house actual voltage.Useful if you suspect it’s not at normal voltage.You can then adjust cooking times to suit a lower voltage.Plus it has all the normal things on a testing plug as well.

Useful tool
I've recently replaced a few sockets and added some new ones so thought that it would be good to get one of these to make sure I've got everything wired correctly.The tester picked up an open ground on one of my sockets. Thankfully it was just that the earth wire had come out on the socket it was linked to so I was able to fix the problem quickly. All my other sockets came back as correct.It was actually quite good that there was a faulty socket because it confirmed the tester does actually work. I'm generally not quite trusting of these sort of things from brands I've never heard of but in this case I'm happy I bought the tester and know my house is that little bit safer.
