Finally found it !
I have a 1985 500sel, me and my car are about the same age lol. You would think that since these cars are supposed to be obselete that the parts would be cheaper smhhh. It really is a testament to how magnificent and ahead of their time these cars are with proper maintenance. Some of the parts are hard to find and expensive, i'm very happy to have found it here. I meant to get 2 but messed up somehow on the ordering.

Exact fit for this filter - like brand new!
While I was fixing up the air filter and intake hose, I removed the tired and dirty filter. the new filter fits precisely in pace, with perfectly aligned screws to hold it in place. Now that big 5.6 liter engine breathes easier!
