desertcart.com: Royally Screwed (Audible Audio Edition): Emma Chase, Andi Arndt, Shane East, Simon & Schuster Audio: Audible Books & Originals Review: FUN. SEXY. SWOON WORTHY. - Emma Chase first made me fall in love with an outrageously arrogant, hilariously sarcastic investment banker. Next she introduced me to a group of type-A, highly competitive yet entertaining lawyers, and I lost my heart all over again. This time she’s granted every girl’s childhood fantasy: a royal fairy tale complete with dashing princes, castles, and a dour queen. You see where this is going, right? Oh yeah. She did it again. Royally. I fell totally in love with the story and the entire cast of characters, all of whom are unique and highly entertaining. Nicholas is the perfect blend of entitled arrogance, sarcastic wit, and sexy charm. Olivia is the epitome of a fiery New Yorker who tells it like it is, even to the prince who’s used to everyone fawning over him, especially women. She’s strong, unwavering in what she wants, and the perfect foil for Nicholas’ commanding cockiness. The secondary characters are outrageously funny and extraordinary in their own right, leaving me wanting more of them. Book two will feature the wild antics of Prince Henry. I almost feel sorry for the unsuspecting heroine whose life is about to be turned upside down by the endearing prince. But I need more of the remaining characters too: Olivia’s sister, Ellie; her friend/employee, Marty; Simon & Franny, Nicholas’ best friend and his wife, who I might just have a girl-crush on. Seriously, they’re so real you wish you could hang with them. The only downside to creating a fabulous supporting cast is that they deserve their own stories too. Hint. Hint. Royally Screwed is filled throughout with wicked humor and sexy times hot enough to singe eyebrows. The beginning is fun and exceptionally romantic, almost swoon worthy. But the last half left me breathless. I loved it, and can’t wait for more royals. Get Royally Screwed now! You'll enjoy every minute. Then, if you’re new to this author, treat yourself with her Tangled and Legal Briefs series. 4.5 stars Review: 3.5 stars - Overall Opinion: This was a cute, relatively light read. I enjoyed the royalty aspect, because that was something different. I did find a few similarities to other stories that I made note of. We had the Christian Grey helicopter pilot and shaving similarities, as well as the pretty woman polo game and colleague proposition similarity. It didn't bother me, but they just stood out to me as something to note. I was frustrated with the unanswered questions I was left with in the abrupt ending, because I needed better closure! I think it would've made the book so much better if we didn't have the epilogue directly after the conflict was resolved! It would've given time to better explain what happened with both of their families and to properly set up a future for them. As it was, I was a little confused by some of the stuff that was thrown in the epilogue to briefly handle some of the big issues the couple faced. There were also a few time jumps that I wish had explained what had happened during that time that we missed a little better (especially the polo match conflict), because it felt a little like the issue was being swept under the rug. **See Goodreads.com/NMmomof4 for my full review with spoilers** Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Olivia and Nicholas's story. Olivia is struggling to keep her Dad's restaurant open and take care of her family, and she is not all that thrilled to be propositioned by a hot guy one night. Nicholas has been given an order by his grandmother the queen that he has 6 months before he needs to make an engagement announcement to help unite his country. He is in the US trying to get his brother back home, and he is instantly attracted and intruiged by Olivia when he meets her. He starts pursuing her, and she gives in for a summer fling. There is some family and royalty drama, some sexy times, and some funny moments...but they do get a HFN ending. POV: This alternated between Olivia and Nicholas's POV. Overall Pace of Story: Ok. I did have a few issues with some of the time jumps and the abrupt ending (see closure section). I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well otherwise. Instalove: No, they take a while to develop stronger feelings. Instalust? Yes. H rating: 3.5 stars. Nicholas. I liked him until he pushed the h away. He did make up for it in the end. h rating: 4 stars. Olivia. I liked her. She was sweet, loyal, and sassy. I liked how she treated the H like she would anyone else, and called him out when needed. Sadness level: Low. No tissues needed. Push/Pull: Yes Heat level: Moderate. They have some hot chemistry and scenes, but not so much it takes away from the storyline. Descriptive sex: Yes OW/OM drama: Yes Sex scene with OW or OM: No Cheating: No Separation: Yes Closure: This had another ending with the conflict being resolved and then went straight into the epilogue -- I want some time in between! I also had a lot of unanswered questions, and the way the ending was presented it was just too abrupt for my liking. I would call it a HFN because of my unanswered questions, but others might call it a HEA. How I got it: I paid the $4.99 on desertcart for it.

I love me a good rom-com. This was such a fun treat. Prince Nicholas has to fulfill his responsibility towards his kingdom and obey the orders of his beloved Queen gran. Which means against his wishes he has to get married and he's given only five months to find his queen. Olivia Hammond on the other hand is a hard working woman, who would do anything her family and obviously makes the best pies. She's struggling in running her coffee shop. Her is quite boring for her and then on a stormy night comes the prince not on a white horse but with all his pompous glory and drunk. From there starts their affair which turns soon to love. This story was fun and the author nailed the royalty part. I adored Olivia, for her sweet nature. No matter what she always tries to see good in people and her family means everything to her. NICHOLAS IS ROYAL HOTNESS. Loved it 💖

It's the most harmonious mix of romance, humour, heartache, honour, and of course, spiciness! Clever, sexy and captivating dialogue in the combination to keep you turning the pages. I've read the entire series before, twice actually, years ago. But it's good enough that I'm going back for a third time. Enjoy lol.

Llegó perfecto y a tiempo.
