This is a super radio. Looks good, stylish. Sound is phenomenal in speech and music. So easy to connect phone and tablets with Bluetooth. A friend says she thinks it is the best ever sound she has heard from a small radio. Easy to set up and use.I not only have a new radio but also a great speaker for other devices. Good value for money. Highly recommended

Good looking DAB radio (and Bluetooth) which produces excellent sound

Good sound quality. Robust. Easy to carry around but you need to buy a battery pack if you want it to be fully portable. Station selection is a little awkward with no numbered buttons and not very intuitive, but I got used to it.

This is a great little radio/clock for a bedside table. The sound quality is excellent and the digital display is not bright enough to disturb sleep. It is very easy to set up and use. I would definitely recommend it.

Best radio we’ve ever had, looks good and sounds outstanding. This is the second Monty we have had.

This radio does not work without a specific battery that is not included in the package. The radio only functions when this special battery is installed inside the device. However, this very important detail was not clearly mentioned in the product description.To make things worse, the required battery is of a special type and is not easy to find in the market.How can a product that depends entirely on a separate item be sold without including it or at least clearly informing the buyer beforehand?I hope you can provide a solution, as I’m currently unable to use the radio at all.

I decided to purchase the radio based on its British design and was highly recommended by Which.My original Monty arrived in excellent cosmetic condition. I checked all the functions and found that the station presets did not work. I reset the radio and they still did not function.I contacted Ligo the seller and their customer and technical support was exemplary and they recommended obtaining a replacement unit. I decided to return the original radio for a refund from Amazon and ordered a replacement which arrived the following day. Excellent service received from Amazon as usual.I checked all the functions including the station presets and everything worked fine. The batteries which have to be purchased seperately and are bespoke to this radio are charged within the radio in standby mode. I found the batteries on the internet at a much reduced price.I use the radio every day, mainly on the standalone battery function and it is performing very well, the sound quality is amazing for a single speaker and such a small unit. The battery life is exceptional and the batteries (I have two) arrived fully charged.I am very pleased with my Monty to the present date and would highly recommend this radio which is number 1 on the Which best buy list for portable DAB and DAB+ radios.If you decide to purchase, don't forget to go to the manufacturer's website and register the unit for a 3 year extended warranty which is reassuring.

Lovely radio -looks good and sounds good but should come with the rechargeable battery as i cant get one anywhere and radio was purchased for use in garden! Annoying
