These "Woman Plus Size Cotton Spandex Mid Thigh Shorts, Multiple Colors Available" by Seller Clothes Effect, do tend to run a good full size smaller. The "stretchy" material around the top of the waist is not very stretchy although it does have a very wide waistband (which I am still debating if I like it or not?!?!? I am almost tempted to say it is 'too' wide). There is also a draw cord to be able to tighten these Capri's up, if by some miracle they are too big and want to fall down (unless you order a full 3 sizes too small, that is very unlikely to be the case). Honestly, these Capri's are still fairly tight on me, even though I ordered a full size larger (thinking that I could tighten them with the drawstring - which isn't really the case), and it would be difficult for me to be really active in these "active-wear" Capri's, due to these issues!On the up-side, these Capri's are very thick and durable, not likely to wear out soon. The color that I ordered, the "Bright Cerulean" is very bold and bright, almost close to fluorescent. It is a pretty blue and I was luckily able to find a shirt with a print that matched them (score!). On the down side, the material on these Capri's is so thick and it is still a fairly warm time of year to be wearing them - especially when you are having hot flashes!!! I really like these shorts, they are soft and comfortable. That being said, a year ago 9/29/15, I bought these same shorts in tan color size 2xl and they fit me perfectly still today. However today 9/5/16, when i ordered them in black size 2xl they are about 2 sizes too small. I see some other reviewers saying the same thing happened to them. Another note, I normally wear 1x or XL, so having to order 2x in the tan ones a year ago already meant they run small, well now they run about 2 sizes too small.

I bought these to wear in the pool over my swim suit. Perfect for that. Lightweight and comfortable

These are nice shorts, good quality, however they definitely do run small. Oddly, I bought these to wear under sundresses in Hawaii, since the island I was going to, is VERY windy, so it is not uncommon to have your dress blow up in the air - the shorts look cute under the dress and definitly afford the modesty desired; the color selection was amazing. I do reccomend the shorts, I like the length, (mid-thigh) but caution people to size up at least one or two sizes.

If you're looking for thin legging shorts these work. I was looking for some that were a little heavier material. Also, be sure to go 2 sizes above what you need. I saw that customers were recommending go a size larger so I bought a size larger, but if I'd had gone one more size up, they'd fit perfect.

These fit me perfectly fine but they don't stay down. If you are looking for leggings to wear under skirts because you're not a size 0 with a thigh gap, these will ride up, which quite obviously, defeats the whole purpose of wearing shorts under your skirt to keep your thighs from rubbing together when you walk. This was the purpose for which I bought these and well, I will not wear them out of the house as it looks really bad to be reaching under one's skirt to lower the hemline of one's undergarment. If, however, you are blessed with a thigh gap, or you simply are unconcerned with the need for something to cover your thighs so they don't burn as you walk and all you really require is something to wear under your skirt to hide traces of your unmentionables because you like to twirl, then these will work just fine. Really, it's all in how you want to use them.I ended up just going to Wal-Mart to get their leggings. Full length for fall and winter and capri-length for summer. They fit, look fine under skirts, and they don't make you want to have to pull them down all the time.

I think I would like these if they fit. Please note that they run small, at least for me. Also, they seem pretty lightweight, which could be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for. I don't know if they would be see-through because I really could not get them on without stretching the elastic too much.

These white stretch cotton shirts fit as expected, without pinching or riding up. They seem to be well made, as with any fitted white pants they are a bit see through but will work well with tunic or hi low tops that provide some backside coverage. No significant shrinkage noted with washing (cool water) and will be a great wardrobe item for an upcoming trip this spring.
