Q: The hinge doesn't feel strong and moves with my surface pro. Is it faulty?

I also have a surface pro and I agree. While this is a very good stand for the price- it comes with a qualification that there’s a weight limit. I can get it to hold the device but the minute I touch it the stand height collapses. It’s a shame it doesn’t have a slightly better locking mechanism. It’s just a bit too week for the surface pro IMO

Mine did have a thick case, it did fit as stand went through the hole, you could flip the case over the back of the stand. Good sturdy stand

Hi Shaun. I have my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 on mine. I'm very pleased with it, especially because I can get my keyboard up close. It elevates the screen which is useful. Changing the angle is easy and reliable. I can use my pen easily. It is really good for watching football, videos and TV! The balance is good, but I find myself supporting the tablet for heavy presses of buttons etc., But I'm not sure if this is necessary. There is certainly enough room for a tablet with a case on it. I have a rubber case on mine, but mine is only on the back not the screen. I hope this helps Best regards Trevor
