Finaly, a good one!!!
I have a 25 year old Coleman Air compressor. It did last a long time but it was time for a pressure switched. This was the 3rd switched I ordered. The others I tried were just not compatible with my application. The Good:1. It appears to be well made out of good materials.2. It had decent markings on it that showed how to hook it up.3. The on off switch felt very solid and I feel like it will be a quality part that will last a long time, (probably longer than the compressor itself)The bad1. There were no written instructions that came with it. But it was marked well though.2. The attachment port is a female end and compressor needed a male. I bought and coupler from Harbor Freight and it worked. ($80 dollar trip because who just buys one thing at Harbor Freight)3. The unloader line was facing the opposite direction than my original so I had to fabricate a new one, (I used a piece of 1/4 icemaker hose)All in all I am happy with this product and I will give it a 5 star rating

Brought back my Craftsman air compressor relic
I have had my Craftsman 919.156581 1 HP single-phase compressor since 1980. Many years ago I noticed that it was shutting off at about 85 psi instead of 100 psi. I tried to adjust the pressure switch, but its adjustment screw had no effect.I bought this switch, installed it, adjusted it, and my compressor is working just fine. The old pressure switch has a male fitting, but all current pressure switches use a female fitting. I found a perfect male-to-male connector and that solved that problem. The offload is in the same position, and the existing fitting simply screwed on. The electrical connections are the same, to that too was simple.I didn't want to stress the old machine too much, so I set the cutout pressure to only a few pounds above the 100 psi specification. I may tweak it in a few weeks after it has settled in.

Pressure switch
The pressure relief was taller than oem. Was able to sraiten the mtal air pressure line. Took out 2 90 degree elbows. Was barely long enough. Not an exact replacement, but I made it work. Thank you

Exact replacement
This worked really well for me. I struggled a little bit with adjusting the cut on and cut off settings, but did achieve the settings that I desired.

Check your Check Valve before buying this
My 90's Coleman-Powermate, 5 hp, Oil free compressor would run fine but when it reached set pressure, it shut down fine but air leaked from this switch. I installed this switch and it worked great. But it still leaked in the same manner. Further investigation revealed I had a bad check valve. Apparently this is a much more common problem. Be sure to rule that out first.

Pressure Switch 95psi/125psi
Works as advertized. Presets were correct. Installed on older craftsman 6.5hp 220V compressor

Designed to vent at cut out, NOT A LEAK!
I always learn something when I work on something I am not familiar with. This switch is designed to vent at cut out, it is NOT a leak.I turned on an old compressor, it ran good, but at cut out there was air leaking on the side of the switch. I thought I had a leak and broke the fitting trying to tighten it leading to a complete switch replacement. The switch is an engineering marvel. A small bar moves up at cut out and opens a small bled valve which sounds like a leak.On cut in this bar moves down, closes the bled valve and allows the tank to fill, no leaking sounds.Air connections are delicate, they are NOT pipe threds, do not over-tighten.
