Q: Is the color of boot true to picture on amazon

It seems as though the boots pictured are maybe an older model or something because the colors are different than what I received ("dark brown" is actually quite a different shade--in reality its more of what I'd call "chocolate") and the logo is in a different place than in the picture.

Q: Is this an updated photo? Does these have just the dog on the side or is it the dog in the circle?

I have the dark ones I think they just have the dog in the circle.
