Perfect fit... Solid, just like original except there is a hole for the charge port. Little pricey for a small part, except it's actually made pretty good! It's worth it.

I use my GoPro while riding my motorcycle long distances. I hate having to check if the battery died. This lets me keep it plugged in while riding all day. Buy some wax earplugs and smash one around the opening if rain is predicted and you have no worries.

An audio adapter was needed for my GoPro 8 and I used a ParaPace side door replacement in order to run this audio adapter and remote mic. The side door replacement fits similar to original side door and seems to hold the battery very well in its place. This GoPro, adapter and remote mic was installed on exterior of my car, and it worked well when tested. Side door didn't come loose or fall off when car was in motion, although this was done only on side streets at legal speeds. The real test will be when I take the car to the track. I'll update if anything noteworthy happens.

The media could not be loaded. The ease of not having to always take the cover off just to remove the battery and charge.. now as long as you keep it dry and free of moisture you’ll be ease if charging

I bought this because I needed access to the charging part of my phone and it works perfectly just as described. There’s no issues at all with it if you need a little gate like this for your GoPro phone the way it should. I would recommend it and I would buy it again.
