Mechanical parts turn or work
Use your measure or check the outside of a round object. Used one for years doing ‘Shop Checks’

Appears to be well made
Appears to be good quality- I haven't used it yet.

I could give it a 5
For a "hobbyist" tool, this is seems quite adequate. Yeah I'm not rebuilding an engine with it, but it is of sufficient thickness to not be junk and the spring/adjustment mechanism seem to be pretty solidly build. I purchased to make O.D. measurements of thingss like pipes etc. where accuracy of .001" is not needed, I read the result with a tape measure or use it to compare pieces. Basically a nice tool for the $$.

Total impulse buy but works well
I don’t know why I purchased this (it was on a good sale) but I did and it’s come in handy for a few random home projects. Works well with smooth adjustments

perfectly adequate
Not a bad analog caliper for the price. I needed one, it got the job done and didn't have to haunt flea markets and eBay for a Starrett. Made in India.

Great calipers for the money
These are nice calipers for around the house handyman use at a good price. The screw setting stays in place and the pointed ends provide a nice spot to measure from. Unless you are a machinist needing extremely accurate measurements, these should serve you well.

Good Quality Tool
Good quality tool, does what it should. Handy to have around for woodworking, especially with a lathe.

Can't beat them for the price. I have $60 and $100 calipers that do the same job... but these cost me a 5er! I don't worry if the kids are using them or if I left them on a rainy bench. They've held up well too.

This outside caliper does not scream "quality" like my Lee Valley branded caliper, but it's also costs five times less. I needed some extra on hand, and this caliper does the job just as well.

Nice tool, easy to use and accurate. Love it

Ships absolutely covered in motor oil, I had to wipe it completely. The screw is pretty bad, keeps getting loose while the calipers are on the lathe due to a small amount of vibrations. So the screw has to be held while the tool is on the lathe. Also, the points are not aligned when closed. Finally there is a lot of variation between the size measured and the one we get on the lathe, due to the caliper hands bending a lot (as much as 2-3mm).
