Giraffe Tools Reinforced Garden Hose 5/8 in x 50 ft, Never Kink PVC Water Hose Heavy Duty, Male to Female Brass Fitting

We went through a brand new retractable hose in under 4 months after seeing all the good reviews of them on amazon and purchasing. It was one of the most useless hoses we’ve had. Didn’t retract well and broke quickly. Therefore, I decided it was best to go back to basics, but get something super heavy duty that looked like it would last for a while. We bought a similar hose at Home Depot, which I loved and have had for several months, so I figured this hose would be equally as good...and it hasn’t disappointed! I have a good feeling this one will last us for years!

I'm never excited about writing reviews but this hose deserves a good one. As advertised it is very light, super flexible, and of course does not kink. I have bought "no-kink" hoses before that still occasionally kink; this one doesn't. The fittings on each end also seem very well made. Great purchase, very happy and would buy again for sure.

I'm a fan short term, does not kink, lays out nice... Way, way, way to many warranty exclusions.. What do you cover?Amazon, you need to protect the consumer better and firewall more of what you allow sold on your site, otherwise you dilute your name and are no better than some obscure web site of " buyer beware"I will buy from Costco.com as a default just for the protection and their oversight of products....

It's a bit heavy and pricey - but well worth it! I've gone through three different "no kink" "heavy duty" "construction grade" hoses that were none of the above. This Giraffe Reinforced Garden Hose 5/8 in. x 90 ft, Never Kink Polyvinyl is the best hose I've owned. Haven't had it kink yet, even when it was a bit soft from being in the sun with no water pressure. Curious to see how stiff it is in winter but obviously won't be using it much then.Wish it came in 100' length but otherwise it's great!

I will say that this hose does not kink. So I'll give them that. If that was my only concern, then it would probably deserve 4 or 5 stars. The BIG issue I have is the very low water pressure and volume from the hose. This picture compares the Giraffe claimed 5/8" hose (on left) with one of my old 5/8" hoses (on right). The Giraffe hose is barely 1/2" I.D., supplying about half of the water pressure and volume of a real 5/8" I.D. hose.

I was skeptical when I purchased this 25 ft. hose. Many hose manufacturers claim that their hose will not kink or bend; this is not always accurate. This hose is amazing; i have tested to see if it would kink and there is no way that will happen with this hose. I like it so much that I just purchased a 50 ft. model of the same hose. I would recommend this hose to anyone looking for a top of the line garden and yard hose.

**Update #2 - the company quickly replaced the hose, no questions asked. Stayed in contact through the whole experience. I have not used the new hose yet, however I upgraded my review to 5 stars due to the impressive customer service and the actions taken to ensure I was supplied with a great product. Would recommend this hose and company.Update: The company followed up and says they are sending a new hose. I appreciate them atleast following up and will continue to update my review.If I had wrote a review right when we bought this...I would have given it 5 stars! But I am glad I didn't, bc after 2-3 weeks we noticed little holes! No crazy use or anything, but it sprung several leaks. Would not recommend
