Simple brooder lamp. Took a 250 watt heat bulb, been on continuously for 3 weeks. No on/off switch (not needed), has bulb guard, and a bail to hook to a chain/cord to suspend. (Chain recommended, as not flammable). Definitely recommend.

Got this for our chicken brooder. Works great!! We run a 250w bulb with no issues. It’s a dangling light so don’t buy if you want a light that clamps onto something. Very long cord and so for no issues! I’d buy again!

Not a bad heat lamp at all, has been running 24/7 in my barn for a few weeks now and had no issues. I like that the cord feels heavier than most and its a good long cord. Its seems to be put together very well, with other lamps I've had a issue with the sockets burning on the inside and finally just falling apart. Which is scary when you are using them for livestock. We will see if this one holds up to the test of time. Only reason I took away one star is I really wish it had a on/off switch.

I purchased this item to put in my garage over my dogs kennel when it's cold outside. I was concerned it would be too hot or use too much electricity, however, since changing to it, my electric bill has gone down by about 50 dollars and I leave it on all the time, not just at night like the heater I had in the garage. It's been an excellent product and would recommend it again!

I put a 150 W red lightbulb in it and it has been keeping my chicks warm for a few weeks now. My chicken even jumped on top of it one day and nothing happened. It does not get too hot and works well. I wish it had a clamp. Maybe I missed it somewhere.

Perfect to use in our chicken brooder. Came slightly dented. Packaging of Amazon lately comes pretty rough. Although postal service might be rough with items as well.

It is dented pretty badly simply because it isn’t packaged in a product box by itself. The quality is nice though. The chord is thick and protected at the ceramic base. The cage is easy to assemble and the hanger clip is thick metal and I will hang the light with it. It worked out of the box.

Got these for my reptiles cause there a high wattage 10 inch dome with a good depth, heats that 1/3 of the enclosure perfectly. The bulb guard is an amazing addition if your able to use it. Nice durable 6 foot cord, as well as a removable metal hanging attachment can make things easier. I well be buying more of these and will keep buying them for any reptile for as long as they are available.

Thin metal as others stated was dinged and dented but was packaged properly so prob got that way before being packed and not in transit to me. the small dents does not affect the way the lamp works and is a great f lamp for the price.

Great quality product. I used mine to build a heated humming bird feeder and I'm very happy with the product. Radiates heat nicely and light weight. Bulb protector is a nice touch. I wish it had a On/Off switch on the cord so I don't have to unplug/plug all the time but overall I'm very pleased with it.
