These mics are incredible
These mics are incredible for their price range but you really shouldn't compare them to an SM57. They look like an SM57 but they're quite different. Unlike the SM57, they do not have a transformer. I have sm57s and SL75c's and did a side by side test both using the same settings in my daw and found them very close in comparison but the SL75c has a little more high end sparkle. Behringer has gone through lots of changes in their manufacturing process and a lot of the components that are used in the construction of these mics and other products are produced or made in house to keep the cost of their products low. No middle man. So if your looking for a mic that sounds great on snare drums, toms, acoustic guitar, guitar cabs then I recommend these. Have not tried with vocals but I'm sure they sound great.

Nice
Decided to purchase after watching reviews on Youtube. Good cheap mic, well built, sounds very similar to SM48. I just had to tweak the EQ on the pre-amp slightly to make it sound the same as SM48.

Unbelievable value for money
I have been a musician for over 20 years and recording music for over 12 years. I'd like to think that I have pretty discerning ears. I have done a direct comparison between this microphone and a Shure SM57 on snare drum, Floor tom, bass guitar, and electric guitar. The value for money in this microphone is unbelievable. It's not identical to the Shure SM57, but not inferior, either. It actually sounds pretty similar to the Audix i5. I prefer the SM57 for some sources, but actually preferred the SL75-C for some as well. It has more low-end response and more high end response. It does not have the aggressive upper-mid response of the SM57, which is the biggest noticeable difference. That gives this mic a smoother/warmer sound, which may or may not be what you're looking for. The bottom line is, this mic could be EQ'ed to sound like any of the mics that I have compared it to. And you could buy four or more of them for what you'd pay for the other mics. This is a no-brainer purchase and absolutely worth buying.

Excellent instrument mic for home recording
Good microphone, unbeatable value.I have never been a big fan of Behringer products so my expectations were low but I am really impressed this time. Obviously it isn't a professional-grade microphone but perfect for home recording. Very happy with my purchase. The good:-All metal construction, quality feel.-Balanced sound, perfect for recording instruments like guitars and drums-Nice accessory package. Good microphone clip with metal threads. The case is hard plastic but the foam interior is low quality (like packing foam).-I paid $20 US, at that price this is an unbeatable bargain. Five of these can be purchased at the cost of one SM57, great money saving option for mic'ing drums. I would still recommend this mic for double the price but I would buy an SM57 over this if they were priced similar. The bad:-Not recommended as a primary mic for vocals. Vocals don't sound bad but something is missing, hard to describe, likely not enough range.-XLR connection doesn't feel quite right, cables do lock properly but plugging in a XLR cable does not have that satisfying "click".-The mic clip is too tight and feels rubbery, difficult to slide the mic in and out-Delivery took over 2 months. Not a product issue but I had to reapprove my amazon order twice due to the delay. Be aware and don't be in a hurry.

Best clone ever
I bought four of them. They're flipping awesome! They work just like the real deal. I don't know a difference. I brought it to my studio and have used it on every amp and snare thats gone through the studio. Nobody has said anything, or even noticed it's not a 57. I love the price. Hands down the most affordable option. You can buy 4 or more and use them on anything. Drums are great. There's no difference in processing this mic versus the real 57. You'll work with these just the same. Buy several of these and be glad you can mic up anything quickly and easy.

SHOCKINGLY GOOD
This does NOT sound exactly like the SM57 it tries to "emulate" (I'm being nice). BUt for the price? It's AMAZING. It can handle the same high SPL cabinet stuff I would throw sat a 57, even drums and with a bit of EQ magic, no one would ever know you used one of these instead of a 57 in the mix. Seriously, they are THAT good. And for the money? AMAZING. How do they do it??!
