Love this baitcaster. It is butter smooth and very quiet. It feels so sturdy in the hand also. Very rigid. Gotta love KastKing!

Only had it a few weeks but so far really liking the Crixus. This reel seems very similar to the Royal Legend Elite, once it’s dialed in almost no adjustments and seldom any backlashes.

I fish for a living and have found an incredible reel at a fantastic price! I received the reel in a very elegant jewelry like box which surprised me a bit. Then the look of the reel was like a jewel, beautiful! Gears are precision made, smooth as silk, casts a mile (10Lbs test) and is, so far, handling all I can give it. After catching some large sea trout and redfish, this reel seems to hold up well in saltwater, which I'm not even sure its designed for. Got the reel for brackish River fishing. I have paid twice as much for reels that have less quality and features, than this Crixus ArmorX reel. The features I like most are, the smooth strong drag, magnetic brake and the extremely fast retrieve of over 7 to 1 ratio. This is my second KastKing reel and the first is used on a Sabiki rig for catching live bait. So far both are the best quality new reels for my money and money counts. I will leave a review after a year, to see how it does over time. I plan on adding more KastKing reels to my charters.Hopefully, I can find larger KastKing reels for Deep drop rigs offshore.

Incredible reel, aluminum frame, and so light. Grips and finish are amazing. A smooth in an understatement.

I set this reel up on a Fenwick Elite Tech MH Extra Fast with 20 lb braid, the combo matches up well. I am on Eastern Long Island and we are enjoying first month of Striper season with plentiful scoolies 14-20 inch. This is my first baitcaster with magnetic braking, what a revelation. Set the spool friction for the particular lure and fine tune the cast with the magnetic brake and most casts will be thumb less after the release. This reel can give reels costing three times the price a run for their money. I'm already looking at the Kastking Spartacus Maximus for the whole Magilla Centrifugal and Magnetic braking.

so far smoothest kastking feel I have. The crisis in the sea foam is my second favorite, then the stealth, then the Spartacus. But the crisis x is like butter. It's going to be my new favorite setup for sure. Kastking continues to sell quality for affordability. This business model is great because it actually helps fisherman rather than make then extra broke. Feels may not cost as much but they sell a lot more of them. Thank you kastking.
