National Geographic Kids Ultimate Reptileopedia: The Most Complete Reptile Reference Ever (NGK Ultimate Pedias) Review: A lot more than beautiful pictures - Educational, full of fascinating facts AND visually captivating at the same time Review: Great source of information for curious children - I bought this for an eight year old who LOVES bugs and reptiles. She reads a couple of entries a night from this one and the Bugopedia. There is a LOT of information in these books and it's broke down in easy to read sentences and easy words to understand. Smaller children will enjoy the bright and colorful pictures. Older children will enjoy the information without having to ask too many times "What does this mean?". And even an adult with a curious child will enjoy these books as you get to explore the creepy crawlies of the world. I had a picture encyclopedia when I was a child and it was my most treasured book. And for right now, this Reptileopedia (and the Bugopedia) are her most treasured books and as long as she's satisfied with them, I am too. Next we're going to get the Oceanopedia.

Great pictures
My daughter loves this book. Vivid pictures with interesting information. The information is a lot for a five year old but I just read little interesting snippets and the pictures keep her captivated.

Perfect for any Reptile-Loving Child
My son loves reptiles and saved his money to buy a book that contains facts about them. We looked through a number of different titles, but this one stood out the most for good reason. It has vibrant pictures, interesting facts, and includes almost any reptile you could think of. The best part about it is we have had it for two weeks and he is just as interested in it as he was when we first got it, which is an accomplishment in our house! I would recommend this book to kids of ages 3 and up.

Best reptile book for kids!
My son has several books on animals and reptiles, but this is hands down the best. The pictures are beautiful and it’s filled with interesting facts. It’s not overly detailed so it keeps my son’s attention. This book is a must for reptile/nature lovers.

My daughter wanted to know more about reptiles and she is motivated about them. I searched Amazon as always and found this amazing National Geographic book. We have been reading many many National Geographic books and this one is also very interesting with lots of beautiful pictures. Very informative book not only for kids but for adults as well.

This is the third in this series that I have ordered for my nephew's son. He is six years old and loves to learn. He reads these over and over again and his teacher talks about how he knows more than her on some of these topics. Highly recommended. The other books in the series that we have bought are Oceanopedia and Dinopedia. I think Predatoropedia is next!
