Q: Can I use this with a freezer?

You need to look up how much power that your freezer uses. Remember that the freezer is a motor or inductive load and startup is usually close to double steady state load. Since this switch has a 15 AMP rating, The freezer should have a maximum of 7.5 Amp run with 10-12 AMP startup.

Standby current is current consumption at idle. It is on but not doing anything, like your computer is up and running, but nothing is addressing your hard drive, it is just sitting there doing nothing. A cable is a cable. it conducts electricity in a circuit. It has a resistance and an impedance. It also has a maximum current capacity. A wire does not use any current to just sit there. I recommend a good book on Physics like Resnick & Halliday.

Q: 1) is this ok for a clothes dryer? 2) can i stack of these 2 units in a standard dual outlet ? thx!

I don't know using in cloth dryer. My educated guess is it should not be because clothe dryer is 220v and this is 110v. It is ok to use in stack of a standard dual outlet. I am using two of them in the same outlet.

Q: Can the toggle be moved to the other side? Need for multiplug surge supressor with ground pin on the right, hiding toggle, cannot be turned around.
