Miracle All Purpose Polishing Cloth 9 x 12 (Pack of 2)

This is like my 9th purchase of this Miracle All Purpose Polishong cloth and it works great. Gets my equipment super clean without having to use too many cloth because of its thickness. Definitely value for your money.

I first got one of these cloths back in the '90s to keep the silver plate on my sousaphone free of fingerprints. It was vastly better than the two-stage cloths everyone else used, and they all went out and got one of their own soon after. I used the same cloth to keep my growing sword and knife collection in shape, and even used it to restore a rusty bayonet my grandfather had brought back from WWII. The whole blade was covered in rust, but hours of rubbing with that same cloth removed all the rust without hurting the bluing underneath. That finally did in the original cloth, so I bought a couple more from here on Amazon a few years back, which are still going strong. I bought another pair recently to give as gifts. These cloths use a very mild abrasive effect and the waxlike substance embedded in the fibers to remove corrosion and protect the surface. I've personally used it on silver, brass, bronze, and all kinds of steels, (carbon, stainless, or damascus) and even leather (the smooth kind, not suede). The cloth claims to work harder as it gets blacker, which is sort of true, as it gets a little more abrasive as it turns black (though still leaves a mirror polish), making it slightly better at removing rust, but lots and lots of use will eventually deplete the wax inside, leaving less of a protective coating on the things you polish. That's easy enough to remedy by using one part of the cloth for polishing, turning it black, and the rest for protecting. Unless you use one of these like I did to restore a rusty blade, a single cloth will last forever, and you get two in this pack. The one thing I don't use this cloth for is kitchen knives. There's no reason to do so, since they need to be washed after use, and I don't know if the coating it leaves is harmful if ingested. I always wash my hands after using the cloth, since it leaves my fingers feeling waxy afterwards, but you can use any kind of gloves to prevent this.

I used to use Gorgomyte and was told this was the same for much cheaper. I think it works almost as good but the only downside is that is truly does stink. I have to keep it in a ziplock bag. You get a lot for the money though and it will last a long time.

I have all stainless steel appliances. I am able to keep them very clean on my own without doing anything special other then daily cleaning. Wiping immediately after spills, etc. However, the bottom of my stove had terrible spots all over it. I have no idea what they were or how they got there. I tried literally everything to get them off. I’m talking hours of elbow grease, every cleaning product out there. Then I saw this, I thought what could it hurt, never expecting it to work. Oh was I wrong! It took me maybe two minutes and the bottom of my stove looks brand new! To say I was and am in complete shock is an understatement. Can I rub this cloth all over myself? Will it make me look all new and shiny as well? Maybe it will take 10 years off? This cloth is truly magic…I feel like someone needs to try it…I’ll be the Guinea pig.

The darker the cloth gets from use, the better it polishes, yes, you heard it right. Just put in a sealed bag in between uses and will last years... I use it on about anything silver or stainless. I don't wear much gold but the one gold ring I used it on didn't seem much brighter. But it is gold and of good quality so kinda makes sense. Everything silver or stainless it does an amazing job.

I've been using Miracle Cloth for years to polish my sword/knife collection (also works on firearms). Restores luster and removes oxidation. Be careful with gun bluing, as it can (and has) removed it from the metal as I attempted to treat surface rust. Works excellent on silver metallic finishes, though (brushed nickel, stainless, etc.) I would highly recommend for maintaining bladed weapons. Even leaves a protective coating behind to prevent rust! Multiple applications, as long as you keep it sealed in an airtight container, like a ziplock bag; otherwise, tends to dry out faster.

I use it to clean mainly stainless steel and brass but it works great and keeps on working! Once you polish your metal it will stay shiny for many years! Also the cleaning cloth smells decent and the coconut oil is good for your hands. It really does clean better as the cloth gets dirty! My cloth is black and it cleans better than when it was new!
