Inaccurate
The purpose of a thermometer is to take a person's temperature with accuracy. A few tenths of a degree inaccuracy could make a difference in diagnosis or treatment. The Jiacom non-contact thermometer's measurements are off by more than 2 degrees. Accordingly, it is worthless. A hint for those whose unit will not energize: the two batteries need to be positioned in opposite directions.

Not accurate
The media could not be loaded. Even when my grandkids use it or my kids, and myself it's never been accurate. Different brand but the 3rd one I have tried and they dont work. Back to using under the arm one. Its always accurateI bought it on Amazon within the last few once to really give it a try.Hope this helps

Doesn't work
Not happy with this product. Has not worked properly since day 1. Waste of money.

Low quality
This thermometer worked four times and then quit. I put in Engergizer batteries and now it won’t even turn on. Do not buy this!
