SperryMen's Striper Ii Cvo

On occasion I need to buy something that a grown up would wear. I prefer to wear sneakers, but I can't wear them to church, dinner parties, bbqs, etc. I hate dress shoes because of the breaking in period that leaves the heel blisters. These shoes are perfect midground. I've worn them a handful of times and they are extremely comfortable and haven't left a single blister.They're not the most stylish shoe, but they work for me.

The shoes fit well and seem to be well made but I don't like the leather laces. They are hard to stay tied.

Purchased the Men's Striper Li Core Sw Grey in 10.5 (and several other colors and types from the Sperry store) back on Oct 2020 for my husband for Christmas. (I like to shop early for the family.) They looked great on him and he loved the shoes, but after very occasional use of this specific color, over the next couple of months, they started to make a squeaky noise as he walked. This was the only pair that did this and we've never had issues before with any Sperry in the past 20 years he's been buying them. So, it's a bit disheartening when a $60 pair of shoes start sounding like the cheap, poorly made pair of $20 tennis shoes. I know during COVID, prices have gone up and quality is declining in many products, but was this just a random lemon, or is this indicative of issues that may occur more often with a brand that's typically of higher quality? Ordinarily, you can't return or exchange shoes that have been worn and develop issues after several months. So, now, I actually am worried about the quality of the next pair we purchase - and Sperry's are the only casual shoes my husband wears.

This is my 5th Sperry shoe and still pleased!

I work in an office but occasionally walk around and give tours and my coworkers are always talking about how white my shoes are so I switched it up. These are the COMFORT shoe. Seriously. It’s like walking on a cloud. I was shocked. I love them so much I need to get more pairs. Y’all sleepin on Sperry but I’m not

I can tell these are probably the ones made in china. Not the quality I expect from Sperry but I didn't really pay Sperry price for them either. They are my go-to's for comfort and versatility for my casual wardrobe. Plan to get blue and grey as well. Thy have held up really well.

I bought my first pair on the recommendation of my buddy who ran a marine supply store in Virginia Beach. They grip well on a wet deck as opposed to the average sneaker. They were always comfortable and every pair I had took the punishment you might expect on a workboat. Right tool for the job. AND this pair was NOT made in China !!

I normally wear size US9 and this fit perfectly. Walking with these on feels very comfy, especially with no socks on.Update: After 4 months of daily wear, the shoes are showing signs of degrade. Some parts of the side are now no longer sticking the the shoe. I have super glued the parts back. Another 7 months later, I've pretty much super glued all around the side of each shoe trying to keep it together. I've mostly done walks at the park, and in the office. I may retire these, since they are no longer grey, and have patches of white have formed from the thinning of the corduroy. It was worth the price when I got these on sale for around $20.

True to size. I wear men 9, bought 9 and fits like 9!I hope the soles won't separate. I intend to do an update when they do!
