I accidentally dropped a rag that I was waxing part of my car with and it got on the matte paint of my other parts of my car and left a real shiny spot. I tried everything and it just stayed the same. I bought this product and The shininess of the spot I made disappeared. The cleaner got it right out and it looks as good as new. Easy to use. I highly recommend

I had some really baked in water spots on my motorcycle’s exhaust, and to complicate it a bit the exhaust is a matte black color (Indian Scout Bobber in case anyone else needs a solution for that bike). I had tried a number of cleaning methods, but nothing even put a dent in them. Other water spot removers needed scrubbing or some form of polishing which is a huge no go for matte finishes, but eventually found this which requires none of that. Just spray, wait, and wipe away (seriously, those are the instructions). Got it, tried it out and took those most of the spots out first try! Couldn’t be easier. It recommends waiting 5 minutes after spraying, but also mentions to not let it dry so I wiped it up after more like 2 minutes. Some of the spots needed a couple more applications, but those were in harder to reach areas and probably weren’t well covered on the first spray. Super happy with this! Also, saw another review that said the nozzle only does a stream, but the one I got has stream or spray options.
