Holy Salt Licks! I had no idea it had that much, the flavor is not very intense either. I haven't purchased any in some time due to the horrific price change from $17 to $32, that's no small increase, that's DOUBLE Amazon! Seriously, just stop the bleeding us... please.

Hi Jaspath.  Each package has 600 calories, 240 of them from fat.  It also has 11 grams of protein and 78 grams of carbohydrates.  It is quite a lot, but it is so filling you don't feel hungry again for hours.

Is it safe to cook in the microwave? I realize the instructions direct you to use boiling water, but I've got no kettle and thats inconvenient anyway.
