Great system, but discontinued as of June 2020
I've owned a Worx 56V mower for five years now, and it's performed great on just the two original batteries through many long mowing seasons here in Texas. But I knew the batteries would inevitably lose some capacity, or may even fail, over the years, so I finally pulled the trigger and ordered two of these replacement/backup power packs. I had hoped the price would fall in the time I've owned the mower, but no such luck. Nevertheless, these batteries are truly solid. They sit in my shed through 110F summers and 25F (and colder) winters. They sit idle on the chargers for days, weeks, even months between use. They charge quickly, retain their LED charge indicators (though they run a lot longer than expected after the one light starts flashing), have circuitry to prevent overheating while charging (e.g., if I throw it on the charger right after using), and they still have enough life five years in to mow my yard (probably 30+ mins runtime to do my 3000 sq ft of St Augustine). I'm glad I bought the mower when I bought this house (literally no maintenance or repairs beyond blade sharpening), and I was about to say I'm glad the batteries are still available for this platform, but I see they have now been discontinued. So...I sure am glad I picked up a new pair when I did. Here's hoping I get another 5+ years out of the four packs I've got and the mower they power.

One more battery changes lawn mowing cycle!!!
I've been using Worx battery powered lawn mower for 5-6 years. From the get go, I was able to cut front and back yard at once (about 8000 square feet combined, not totally squared - need to maneuver couple of tricky spots which require more efforts). Since last year, battery life has been diminished and I had to split lawn mowing duty in two-day span. Two-day task jeopardized my weekend life - less my time., but more yard work time... So I decided to purchase extra batteries. Unfortunately, there is not much option available (Worx website did not have any available inventory) and I purchased the last available one thru Amazon. I was unable to test how long the new battery could last in more scientific manner. However, I was able to complete front and back lawn mowing task in one try - well, I need to replace one during the halftime (front/back transition) and recharge the drained battery for the final push. New battery actually outperformed 5-6 year old batteries. Once another batch arrives, I am going to buy one more new battery so that I don't need to swap batteries multiple times. Happy yard work!!!

Keeps my old mower running
My original batteries have started failing and these new ones work just fine. Two of these make my mower run like it did when new. My lawn has about an extra front yard worth of territory to mow. Two of these new batteries and what is left of one original battery lets me get everything done if I don't let the grass get very long. These batteries have the power to do longer grass but will require a second charge for me to finish everything.

Replacement Battery
Battery is a good replacement for the original battery, hold a long charge and seem like it will last.

Works great. But expensive.
This is an OEM replacement battery and based on the performance of my batteries that came with blower it should last for many years! Sadly the manufacturer has discontinued this item so I had to buy it from this company out of desperation. I gave in 4 stars because the price is oppressive! I am grateful I could get one but it was less money from the manufacturer! Have to take what you can get!

Not a Rip-Off
Battery performs equal to the original batteries.

I clocked the run time with mywatch and i got 45 minutes out of this battery
for those that own any worx 56 volt tools and this battery, The battery will last a long time while in use "IF" you do not run it on high and if you do not run it continuous. If you do then the battery will over heat and you wont get more then 6 minutes out of this battery. Right out of the box, after charging this battery the first time, I clocked the run time with my watch and i got 45 minutes out of this battery, by running my turbo blower on lowest speed i needed and increased the speed "ONLY" when needed. I would do this the entire time doing my leaves on my front lawn. The battery was not hot so after finished i could right away re charge the battery. Those that get only 5 minutes after using this battery and running it on high the entire time, do not know how to use it and are expecting more from the battery then it was intended for.

Must have
It is expensive since Worx quit selling the 56 volt tools. I sware by Milwaukee tools but the 56 volt blower from Worx does the job 5 times better than the Milwaukee 18 volt blower. I also have other 56 volt tools so I have to have batteries. I don't have a huge drive way but it takes two batteries to blows leaves of most of the time.

It is a standard battery replacement and backup. I decided to purchase an extra battery to have on hand. I need two of these in my cordless electric lawn mower. I’ve had this mower for 4 years and the batteries are still going well, but I got an extra in case one or them goes belly up, but it seems they still charge up well compared to the new one.

My mower works great, but now that my batteries are dying, I find out that a new one costs as much as a new mower (and the mower takes two). Worx has discontinued these batteries, as I'm sure they will do with the current ones shortly. Probably why the cost is so unreasonable. These "green" options don't seem so green when they make the tools disposable once the batteries die. Guess they're green because they cost so much money. I'll never buy a Worx tool again. I really wish they would stop with the planned obsolescence. Guess it's back to using an extension cord.

I cut the grass 4 times this year, still on the same charge, trick is not to go full speed all the time, plus you dont need the full speed, trimmer is strong, cuts really nice

so far - so good...but I will see next year if it will keep its charge and will still be good ! ALSO VERY EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT PART....MAKES BAD PUBLICITY FOR WORX COMPANY !
