Great shipping time frame. I appreciate that. I have a cottage bakery business in Michigan and use this product exclusively besides the other Satin Ice. People who say it cracks or is too soft don't know how to use it properly. Fondant you make yourself is usually pretty firm and doesn't taste nearly as awesome as this stuff. I have found my sweet tooth customers like this one the best in taste and it is the best to work with. All fondant you need to knead it to get it smooth and over kneading without gloves (moisture is added from your hands) makes any fondant "too soft". I have found this to be the best product out there and it is what the "Cake Boss" uses exclusively. This is the third time I have ordered this fondant from Global Sugar Art and I really appreciate the fast shipping even though I usually pick the ground (cheapest). I do wish the shipping cost was a bit lower, but understand that it costs money to ship 10# plus packaging.

I cover my cakes in this Fondant. It is easy to work with and doesn't crack like some fondants. I also use it to sculp characters as decorations for children's cakes and for creating flowers for wedding or shower cakes. The shelf life has always been great, I have used it well beyond the date stamped on the container.

LISTEN TO OTHER REVIEWS AND DO NOT BUY THIS. I'm pretty experienced with fondant and had to make a wedding cake. Im not a huge fan of a competitive brand because it dries quickly so I decided to try Satin Ice since it has a decent reputation. I decided to ignore other reviewers and assume they don't know how to work with fondant. My fault for not testing this fondant before finishing the wedding cake! Last minute at midnight with no stores open due to covid, I'm thankful my fiance found marshmallows at a local gas station to make my own fondant because this garbage is unusable. It becomes stickier and less elastic as you knead it, rendering it completely useless. The taste is average. Impossible to cover a cake with because it tears and has zero elasticity. I emailed Satin Ice with a kind message asking if they have any tips or tricks to help me use this fondant before I give up for good. I was still willing to give them a chance. No response! Too late to return through Amazon so it must go in the trash. Please consider another brand if you're reading this. Please listen to the negative reviews.

Very good price on despondent! Satin ice is one of my favorites, so I'm always happy when I find a better deal on it!

Although the product is good it self…and I have no problem with a product…. I do received open, and I mean open open, not just crack open.. no.. inside box, separately lose open bag with fondant, completely out of bucket, empty bucket and lid just lay on the side. The bucket should be sealed… so that is my only issue. It’s food-most be sealed. Thank you.

This is the only fondant I will buy. It taste delightful and it colors well. It is easy to use and I like the big size so I can't use what it need for any size project. Will continue buy it!

The item arrived ahead of its due date. The packaging was awful, it had the blow up plastic packing which had obviously burst due to the rough handling and it being a heavy bulky item. Box had gapped and i could see the item inside, once opened the packing had burst and the lid was off the item. This was sugar paste so luckily the bag around the sugar paste was still tightly bound but if it hadn't been this would have been no good. I would have considered sending it back if i hadn't been really desperate for it.

Unfortunately this item came with the lid off and the packet was open. The seal had not been broken either. Unfortunately this item says it is not eligible for a refund. I can not possibly chance putting it on a customer cake plus it has dried out from being open
