Good Semi-Low Profile Nexus 6P Case
UPDATE: 2015-12-23I've had the case on for a few days, and the looseness that I mentioned in my initial review has actually started to bother me. It's only at the top of the case (to the right of the headphone jack if you're looking at the screen), but it's just loose enough to arch up and slightly expose the edge of the screen. I still do like the case overall (pros outweigh the cons), but I'm going to drop a star. If I could give it a 3.5 or 3.75, I would.Original Review:I had a Diztronic case for my Nexus 5, and ended up loving it despite a slightly off cut near the camera. Thin enough to not take away from the phone design, but enough to take care of the phone during some tumbles.Decided to give Diztronic a go again with my Nexus 6P, and I’m thinking it’ll be a on my phone for the long term. The case doesn’t add much bulk, and it gives me that grip that I have to have in order to wield a beastly-sized phone like the 6P. The side buttons (power and volume) are perfectly placed and I love how much more they stand out with the case on than without. The button cuts are firm, and I’ve had no issues with button presses not registering or anything. The cut outs are just slightly off for the camera, headphone jack, and USB port. Not to the point of obscuring anything, but they’re not perfectly centered. No problem during use (and hard to notice), but it’s the OCD in me. The thumbprint and noise cancellation mic on the back have perfect cutouts. I’ll get over the off-center cuts like I did with the Nexus 5 Diztronic case since there is very little else to complain about.I do agree with one of the other reviewers that the lips on the edges are a little bit tall, but they’re manageable. The material at the top is indeed flimsy as reported by another reviewer, but it was the same on my Diztronic Nexus 5 case on the right side (volume buttons). Not a huge deal though. Never ripped or tore on my old case, and I don’t expect it to on this one either.Overall, I’m a big fan of the case. Assuming it saves my phone from a few drops, I’ll keep a look out for Diztronic cases on my future devices. They’ve produced very nice cases for my last two phones, and at a fantastic price. Highly recommend this case for any Nexus 6P owners out there looking for a semi-low profile case.

Slim, yet protective case
I have purchased Diztronic Matte TPU cases for several devices in the past, and this one still holds the same quality. With the Nexus 6P already being a goliath phone bringing true meaning to the word phablet, this case does not add a lot of bulk for the significant protection it provides. The case is a slick, flexible plastic with a matte finish if you are unfamiliar with TPU. The case has precise cutouts on the top for the headphone jack, on the bottom for the USB Type C charging port, and the back for the fingerprint sensor, microphone, and camera area. On the right side there is a protective button cover for the volume rocker as well as the power button. "Diztronic" is printed on the right edge in a subtle shine. The case creates a small lip on the front of the phone that allows the phone to be placed face down without the glass screen coming into contact with the surface. Around the rear fingerprint sensor, the case has a small, gradual indentation which creates a comfortable, physical way to find the finger print sensor. I have unfortunately dropped my phone many times, but the case has done a great job protecting my device. When I remove the case to check for phone damage, I am always surprised to see the unharmed shiny bezel around the edge of the phone. I find that the navy color pairs nicely with my Frost White 6P (even though only the fingerprint sensor is visible). The case has two indented channels around the entire perimeter of the device that adds a bit of grip to this smooth case. Would recommend this Diztronic product for those who want a slim stylish case for their device.

A case with a few critical design flaws
UPDATE 10/5/2016: Since Diztronic replied a few times, I updated the title to not cause confusion to imply they were going to revise the case design (as made clear by Diztronics' response to my review -- they are not going to).So, why didn't I take up Diztronics offer for a replacement?I personally saw 2 more people get the SAME case and have the SAME issue I described in my review -- one 2 weeks after, one 4 weeks after I received mine. I couldn't believe it. I had also discovered another Amazon review about 2-3 weeks after mine (Chris H. on December 6, 2015) before mine describing the same issue. So either Diztronic knew of the packaging issues that would cause cases to not fit the Nexus 6P and kept sending them out to customers hoping they wouldn't notice OR they did have some issues with the cases and didn't want to admit it. I don't know, it just didn't feel right so I decided to try another brand of case maker. For an update on the case, as I predicted, it continued to get worse to the point you could hold the case, shake it and feel the 6P phone slide back and forth. The only reason I kept it as long as I did, I wasn't able to find another case that had the nice responsive/feedback buttons covers like this case. That's probably it's only redeeming quality and why this isn't a 1-star review.Original review:Been using and recommending Diztronic cases for years now but was slightly disappointed in this case. In short, it's not a snug fit on the phone that you'd expect in a case. On the sides of the phone, it's pretty snug however, the top of the case (especially the top, but the bottom is similar but not as "bad") flexes really easily. I waited to post a review thinking mine may have been a bad one, but to note, this is also happening to my friend who got the same case yesterday.I find pulling my phone out of my pocket, the friction from that causes the top of the case to pull away from the phone a bit and become a lint collector. I can see over time, this constant bending will just further make the top and bottom even more flexible and loose. Also, another issue with the case, again with the top. The phone actually doesn't quite touch the top of the case like does on the bottom, you can push down with your finger and see it slightly bend until it touches the top of the phone. Almost like they needed to shave just a hair off the total length to give it a slightly more snug fit.Lastly, the the lip going around the case is a bit too high and can get in the way when trying to reach your thumb on this larger phone. I really wish they were more flush with the phone instead of being a high ridge (that again, collects even more dust and lint and gets snagged when pulling out of your pocket).Good things? The space for the fingerprinter reader is nice. No issues connecting USB-C to charge, no issues connecting a larger headphone jack and while I usually hate case buttons because you lose the feedback feeling, I find these buttons really do feel as if they're part of the phone and work really well.

Good solid case. Grip, knock and drop protection (will still get scuff marks from dirt)
Good quality case - as always for TPU it's that nice compromise between hard plastic and soft rubber. As there's a lip on the front, the screen is protected when you place the phone face-down on a table.Nice snug fit - no "floppy edges" as you get with cheap rubber cases, but not difficult to get on and off like with some hard cases. There's no sim cut-out unfortunately, though most people won't need one. Please be aware that it's for improving grip and reducing the likelihood of damage for short drops and knocks etc. It's unlikely to perform miracles with big drops. Furthermore, dirt will still get inside (not sure there's much they can really do about that) and over time the back of your phone WILL still get permanent marks on it as the dirt rubs between your phone and the case. I speak from experience as I have a few marks on mine now after a couple of months. If you want to prevent that and keep your phone pristine for when you come to sell it, look to the various adhesive vinyl skins you can get.

You had one job......
This is a slightly longer term review. After a few months of use this case has proved itself to be useless. It looks and feels great, apart from the sharp charging port cut out which hurts your pinky finger depending on how you hold the phone. The major flaw with this case however is that is a slightly looser fit than other cases and has therefore let dirt in the back. This dirt has rubbed on the back of the phone itself and has now minutely scratched the phone back along the bottom. The very reason I put a case on the phone was to stop scratches on the back..... USELESS CASE DON'T BOTHER!

Great case as usual
I've used Diztronic TPU cases on the OnePlus One & OnePlus 2 in the past and this one is no different - it's a well fitting case, doesn't increase the bulk of the phone by much and gives a decent amount of protection.

Solid all around
Excellent case, solid construction will be the first thing you'll notice. I was surprised by how responsive the buttons are with this case.It is easy to remove it / reapply it, and it protects every corner of my nexus phone.Great job Diztronic, for what I think it's the best case out there for this phone!
