A brilliant soundbar
My neighbours must hate me. The Sonos Arc is so powerful. I use it for TV audio and for music. It does both brilliantly. No matter what, I play through it; it just sounds amazing. You can pair this with other Sonos speakers to play music around the house. Using your mobile, you can set each room's volume independently to make sure it sounds perfect in each room. You can install a smart assistant on your Arc to control your smart home.It has touch controls you can disable if you have kids or animals that press them.It is very easy to install. too. You just plug it into your TV using the HDMI audio return channel (arc). You can pair it with a sub woofer for extra powerful bass.

Sonos Wow!
We have spent so.e time looking for a wireless system that works throughout the house.Recognise other reviewer issues with connectivity and the sonos app difficulties. Also a number of comments regarding the system favouring Apple over Android.I would just like to say it set up perfectly ( need wife to confirm final location of equipment) . My android phone is in love with Sonos ( tick).Five stars from us , not sure what the neighbour will make of the sub ! 👊👏

Fantastic sound quality
Don't really know how I survived with my old wired, 4 speaker, theatre sound system through my DVD player before this to be honest. The sound quality is without doubt, second to none. Bass is bass, treble is treble. There is zero distortion no matter how loud you play it, and believe me, I tried it on various music apps. The bar itself is unobtrusive and fits in well with the surroundings of any room you set this up in.I was sat watching the F1 and thought the I was actually on the track. Even though some may think it a bit pricey, trust me, it's a price worth paying for the quality sound distribution you're getting. This kit will last you a lifetime, advances in technology notwithstanding. Short answer is BUY...!!! you won't be disappointed.

sounds amazing easy setup
picture your lounge. with this and the other speakers surrounding you. you would think their was someone tapping the cymbals in the right corner of your lounge whilst someone on the left his hitting the hi hat or playing base. Theirs not even speakers in these locations. unbelievable brilliant

Superb Sound - Iffy APP
I have had my ARC for a couple of months now - I am constantly impressed by the high quality of sound for TV viewing, really superb - right down to a clock ticking on a favourite film that I had never noticed before. Blockbusters like Top Gun Maverick are amazing - all the expert reviews will talk about Dolby Digital and Atmos sound but as a two eared biped all I want is sound that does justice to the source - the ARC has that in spades! It loses a star though due to the erratic (for me) behaviour of the APP (controls the ARC from your mobile device) - I use spotify for music through the ARC, when it is working it is superb but if the APP is not used for a while it has a habit of dropping the connection and is an absolute pain to reconnect it - so much so that I have pretty much stopped listening to music through the ARC - disappointment countered by putting on a blockbuster movie! On the whole my ARC is a beautiful thing!

Sonos arc
Always loved Sonos doesn’t seem as good a quality as my old soundbar but definitely crisper but the materials seem a bit plastic like feeling cheap but sound is the most important thing

You have to buy one to understand why you need to buy one.
I'd laughed at Sonos users for years, specially when they Brought out their first 2 soundbar, largely because of the price when you add surround speakers and a £800 sub. Then I heard one, was made to sit in the "sweet spot" in the room, a couple of hours later I was begging to test more film clips and more songs, completely transfixed by the dolby atmos sound demos that could seemingly pitch sound to extremely specific points around the room, even above my head.Still wary of spending the better part of £2000, I bought a cheaper (still cost me £1200) dolby atmos soundbar, sub and surrounds, but it wasn't the same, I spent a day fine tuning the settings, but it was chalk and cheese, no comparison. The same day I finally gave in and bought my Sonos Arc, sub and surrounds, now I can sit in my own "sweet spot" and embarrass myself by ducking when explosions go out behind my head, and I couldn't be happier, the difference between my cheaper dolby surround system (£1200),and the Sonos Arc, sub and surrounds (£1800) is as big as the gap between listening to the TV from its own speakers, and listening to the TV through a half decent sound bar.If you have the money, just buy Sonos, it really will open up a whole new world of sound.

Expensive but well worth it
I bought the Sonos Playbar, Sub and 2 x Play 3s back in 2016 and have been very happy with the whole system. The only thing I will say is that over the years (I’m 69) my hearing is not what it used to be and getting worse and so I find it hard to hear what is being said especially when the actors whisper and or the background noise is loud so on most programmes I have to rely on my headphones.Sunday evening, I started watching the programme about Peter Falconio in Australia which was scheduled over 4 nights and the first 3 again, I had to rely on my headphones. Yesterday (Wednesday10th), my Sonos Arc arrived and so I eagerly set everything up. My existing 2 x play 3s and sub connected in seconds with no problems and was extremely easy. Last night, I watched the final programme No 4 of Peter Falconio and guess what….NO HEADPHONES…needed, I could hear every word and if only for that I am extremely happy. I haven’t found a film yet on Netflix and Prime haven’t started yet but today, I did play my copy of 1917 in 4K ultra with Dolby Atmos…….It Was Superb. The Arc is a lot of money but if you can afford it then in my opinion it is well worth every penny. Thank you Sonos.
