One of the best toys for preschoolers 2-5 years old
I am a preschool teacher, and when I found this mirror, I bought it immediately to teach the kids about social and emotional and how to recognize their feelings. I love this mirror. My kids love it, too. it is cheap, sturdy (You know how a preschool will treat a toy), and it is very functional and appropriate. It helps the kids to calm down and also to recognize their emotions. It was such a success with our three and four-year-old kids that my district decided to buy one for each classroom.

Great teaching tool! Handle with care though.
The media could not be loaded. Way impressed with the mirror! Usually these mirrors for kids are made of such bad quality that it feels that these are made for a fun house instead of actually being a mirror. Also don’t even try to clean them because you could stain them but with this one is a different thing. I’m really impressed with the quality of this one. I loved it and my kids therapist wants one too so I ended gifting it to her so she could use it for her other kids as well. If anything happens to it, I will definitely buy another one.Pros: The mirror is crystal clear. It feels like an actual mirror and it doesn’t make any distortion. Loved the fact that it added emotions so the kids can imitate or explore how their face would look if they try to do it. Great tool for therapy or even just for fun.Cons: the plastic feels flimsy but as long as the adult it’s handling it with care and the little one is supervised while using it, it will be all good. The emotions tabs could easily break too if pulled with force. So bottom line, handle with care.

Great for home daycare!
These are great tools for anyone working with younger kids or developmentally disabled. I use it in my home daycare with children ages 2-4 years old. When they are having big feelings I’ll show them the mirror along with the corresponding picture that matches their feelings. They will usually pause and stare at it for a good while. I talk about the feeling they see and are feeling. It’s a great visual for them! I use it to teach about feelings as well, and we go over all of the various pictures (happy, sad, silly, angry, afraid, etc) while each child in the mirror and makes that kind of face (whatever one is shown at the time). The kids all love it and seem to approach it with intense curiosity. It’s been a great tool for helping them to identify their feelings in the moment :) so far it seems pretty durable, though I do keep an eye on them when they are using it. The size is good for them as well and it’s easy for little hands to handle.

Great for teaching emotions!
Love this handheld mirror with life life pictures of emotions! I use these daily with my students to teach feelings and they provide great visual feedback. Highly recommend for special needs classes and early learners.

A lot of fun for preschool learning about feelings/emotions!
First of all, almost every single 1 star review talked about the mirror being scratched up or blurry. There is a plastic film on it that needs to be removed. That being said, my class of 3,4 and 5 year olds LOVED playing with these mirrors. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the emotion tabs have become stuck on one of the 4 mirrors I bought and I cannot seem to figure out how or why they got stuck or how to fix the problem. But other than that issue, they are a great tool to help teach emotions/feelings to preschool students.

Great Emotional Regulation Tool!
This product is great for my classroom! My students love experimenting to make their faces look like the pictures and matching how they feel to the pictures. It is also very durable, as it has been thrown around more than a few times and has yet to break. Love this!

The plastic film over mirror makes it look cloudy!
I thought at first that the mirror was terrible and cloudy, but there’s a whole plastic film over it which seems impossible to get off lol I used a butter knife to try and lift the edges up. It’s actually a crystal clear mirror!! I love it!

Great idea!!
This is a great tool for learning emotions. The child can see his own face while looking and identifying the emotion on the card
