The quality is great, nice centre metal frame that joins in the middle to form a cross, although very new, this feels so much stronger than previous beds we have had where the centre support just screw in at the top and the bottom. I can’t say much about putting it together because by the time my lunch break started and I went in to help my young adult son put this bed together, he had already done it all. The mattress doesn’t sit in a sunken section of the bed, the mattress fits on top of the slats and frame right to the edges, a bit like a divan bed. It looks so stylish and feels so sturdy which will be great for my 6ft 5inch son. The large zipper area at the back of the headboard is a good bonus; I was sceptical that the bed came with everything considering in the box all we could see was the headboard, but everything came zipped in the back.I am really pleased with the quality and look of this bed. I can’t advise on how it will hold up in the future but as I said, it already feels so much stronger and better heald together than the last bed we got that cost around the £500 and lasted about 6 months before the sides started to separate and the slats started to fall in and we had to reinforce it, the end had started to fall off within 12 months. Having no bottom / end section is a bonus with this bed according to my son, because, with him being so tall, instead of his feet constantly hitting the bottom section like on his old bed, which probably contributed to it coming away from the frame, his feet simply hang off the bottom of his mattress. So 5*’s all round from me and my son. We would definitely recommend.

At last! A company that actually takes the time to think about what a customer actually wants and designs a product that makes life easier for the customer, top marks from me! Arrived in a neat package with all parts stored in the headboard, instructions that actually make sense, all parts included including some spares, a cracking little ratchet allan key that just makes assembly so much easier, no bags of screws and nails as they have helpfully already screwed in all the screws for you, no nails for the bed slats as a clever use of velcro.I actually enjoyed assembling this bed and thats unheard of. Great design, great quality, sturdy and good value for money. I tried a bed base from Emma and Eve (meant to be specialists) and sent them both back before giving this one a go. No regrets, i wish all self-assembly furniture was designed like this!
