Exactly what I needed.
Fit my 70 Chevelle perfectly. But my car does have an aftermarket replacement tank. The key is, make sure your gas cap has the shallow, not deep, locking tabs. More like 1/2” deep instead of the 1” deep locking tabs.

Good cap
The only reason for the poor review is because this does not fit the car as it says it does. This cap will not fit a 1967 Fairlane convertible, coupe or Sedan. It only fits the station wagon models. It appears to be a good quality cap, it just won’t fit listed models of cars. So, unless you have a station wagon, do not order this part for your Fairlane. I have yet to find the correct cap for this application.

Exactly what I needed, hard to find tab caps
Works fine, my gas hole isn't lined up properly, so it doesn't sit in there right, but it does enough to stop the system from getting air in it. Nothing wrong with the cap, it has more to do with improper installation of the fill hose.

I ordered it for a 69 camaro tank, which I also ordered from Amazon, and its too small
