This really is an awesome Water boot
This really is an awesome Water boot. I kayak the rivers of the Ozarks and this pair of boots not only fits well and drains quickly, but the soles maintain a firm grip on the slick sandstone or polished limestone of these rivers. they are also extremely light and comfortable to wear. Definitely a steal at the price when compared to similar boots.

100% happy with these boots. You won't be sorry if you buy these.
The Terrafin Wading Boots are amazing! They weigh almost nothing. They are comfortable to wear, hell, they even look cool! The blue camo isn't for everyone and I wasn't sure about it at first, but now I love it. The laces tight up very well, holding tight and haven't come loose on me in probably about 50 hours of use so far. They have great traction on rocks and they drain really well. One of my favorite things about them is that the sole on them is pretty wide and it helps prevent you from sinking too quickly in marsh mud.I bought mine a size up so I can wear them with 2mm neoprene socks and the fit is perfect. I've worn them in all variety of saltwater and lake and river fishing. Soft, sandy, rocky, slippery, all of it...these performed as I had hoped. They dry fast too. This is my second pair of SoftScience boots. I had the green Fin boot which was great, but somehow one managed to get lost while traveling so I replaced those with these Terrafin and they are even better! The zipper was secure, but the laces are better for a tight fit.100% happy with these boots. You won't be sorry if you buy these. I'm not a paid review either...I genuinely believe these are the best wading boots around.

Super light weight compared to most wading boots
Super light weight compared to most wading boots, which was much appreciated; felt much less tired after hiking and wading over 3 miles. Insole is thick and cushiony, really soaks up shock while walking, which is nice for a person like me with a chronic lower back problem. I purchased a size larger than usual for better fit with neoprene wading socks.

great item. they need to make more colors
great item. they need to make more colors. Its obvious that they don't know much about flats fishing, sandy bottom for bone fishing or very hot sun with a black boot on while in the boat. The number one wading boot color is tan and they don't have tan.

Shoes met expectations so far
Used one time so far fishing in rocky Greenbrier River in WV. Reasonably comfy to walk 3 miles up gravel trail, and then were comfy and provided good ankle support while wade fishing in the river. Will definitely be worth the investment if they hold up for a few years. Using old tennis shoes no longer seems to be a good choice because of the cheaper adhesives used in todays tennis shoes. They fall apart from the river water for some reason now. Time and continued use will tell how good these wading shoes are. So far I am very happy with them.

Subjective quality.
This is a great wading shoe but the quality of construction is debatable. I lost and eyelet on one while on a recent trip and a friend who has been using these boots tells me that the inside seems are fraying. Very comfortable to use. Too bad they aren't more durable.

Not for Use With Waders
These are great wading shoes for warm waters when you do not need waders. Neoprene waders do not fit, even if you size up. That said...These are great shoes! Very light with a thick, soft sole which is like walking on a cushion. They shed water and dry quickly. They grip well on slippery rocks and provide decent support.

Amazingly light while offering excellent comfort.
Excellent footbed padding/arch support in a featherweight shoe. I ordered a size larger so I can wear them over my Simms waders. They're perfect for canoeing, float tubing, or hiking through those boot-sucking swamps en route to the fish. I have tried at least a half dozen types of shoes/booties for float tubing and these are absolutely the best by a mile.
