Q: Can this product be used as a leave-in conditioner? Or must you wash it out?

If you use a small amount & work it through you hair, it works great as a leave in conditioner. I have very thick bobbed hair so I use 2, quarter size, blobs to get everything.

Q: Does my hair need to be wet before applying this?

Yes, it works a lot better after it has been washed!

Q: Does the fragrance rinse out of the hair or does it remain? Is the fragrance strong?

The fragrance is not strong and yes it rinses out of the hair. I towel dry my hair then put some in and let it stay on for a few minutes then rinse It is great!!
