Great Almost Perfect Grill
This is a well designed and thought out grill. For it's size, it has amazing cooking space. Pros Light, Compact and easy to carry - the travel footprint is pretty small Each side of the grill can be set to different cooking levels Hooks up to standard camp stove propane tanks which keeps the footprint small (you'll have to buy separate adapter if you want to use regular propane tanks) Cooking space - Can fit 4 hamburgers on each side Easy to clean - Not only do the grills come off to clean, but the the burners can be removed for easy cleaning inside the grill Cons No way to level out the grill if you have it on uneven place. Would be nice if the bottom of the grill had feet that could adjust The grill temp adjustment get warm when cooking. Would be nice if they were moved lower and some kind of insulation placed around them More fine Temp adjustment - there is really no 'feel' to adjusting the temp. It would nice if there were little clicks or something as you turned the dial to know how much up and down you are adjusting Low highest Temp - Setting the grill to High, don't expect it to be super high temp. It would be nice if there was more gas flow at high. It would take about 5x longer to boil water on this than say a standard camp stove To reduce the size even more, instead of little locking knobs that stick out, nomadIQ should remove those and just add locking switches to each side. Would reduce the overall width by like 6-8 inches, making it even more compact Even with the negatives listed above, I still highly recommend this grill. I looked at other grills before buying this, and the portability and flexibility beats out other grills

Small Size but Mighty Capacity
Just received my grill a few days ago. It arrived in a really nicely packaged box. The entire grill was in a nice black foam container that was formed specifically for the grill. I have used my nomadic grill a few times and all I can say is “I’m in love”. The first thing I love about this grill is its size. My tiny balcony makes it hard to have a huge standing grill but this one folds away and stores perfectly in a drawer, on a shelf, or in a storage container. It’s easy to set up and take down when you’re in a hurry or on the go. The legs lock in place to make space for the detachable grease trays. The capacity is great for any size grill. I don’t see myself cooking for that many people, so I find it most appealing since I can grill burger patties on one side while toasting buns on the other side, thanks to being able to control the temperature for each side. Lastly, the grill ignites with a click of a button. I’ve only struggled once to get it to light, but nothing a long neck lighter can’t fix. I’ve made burgers, hotdogs, chicken, salmon, zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, & s’mores Clean up is a breeze. The grates & trays detach easily and I can throw them straight in the dishwasher. The grill arrived super quickly and the traveling case “pouch” makes it look cute & keeps it safe during storage & transit. I was hesitant in buying this grill at this price, but in the end, It was worth it for the quality and durability. If I needed more capacity, I’d seriously just buy a second nomadiQ & use them side by side.

AWESOME!
Fantastic little grill, heats pretty quickly and the flames are consistent. Cooks steaks perfectly as if they were from a full sized grill. Consistent temperatures on both sides. Very well made and easy to use and clean. The ignition system works without any problems after many uses and cleanings. I have had this portable grill for about 3 years now and not a problem and no moving parts are wearing down. Portable and efficient. I cant see this thing slowing down. Solid buy.

Get what you pay for.
It is an expensive option for a portable grill, but you get what you pay for. This grill is high quality and durable. I didn’t want to write my review until I had taken it out multiple times. It has been great for camping, it’s easy to deploy and very portable. The cooking area is great. You can grill 12 pieces of bacon, or 8 burgers, or 4 steaks comfortably. I’ve read a few of the negative reviews about “does not close fully” and the reason is people are trying to fold the grill up after already folding away the base legs. The legs act as an additional lock, if you shut them first and then try to fold it the unit will not seat fully. Fold it first, lock the sides, and then fold in the legs.

Brand new and failed twice!
I would like to say that I usually don't give bad reviews on something I have purchased. But in this case, I feel it necessary, as this item has a major flaw in the material make up. Read further and I'll tell you why... Upon receiving the first grill, we didn't open it up immediately, as we intended this grill for our new travel trailer. However, once we did unpack the grill, we deployed the grill per the instructions, to just see how to set it up. Easy enough. But upon trying to close the unit, it would not fully fit back in it's closed position. On both occasions, (As we did an exchange for a second one on Amazon.) this happened again and we eventually discovered that there is a stop pin in the casting of the body of the grill, that is designed to stop it from coming completely out of the base. That is unless you need to clean it. Then there are instructions to do so. After attempting to seat both of these grills back in the closed position, we found out that the casting material and design of that stop pin, are not strong enough. As a retired Cad Designer, working in an Engineering Department, who spent a lot of my career in "Failure Analysis," I believe I am fairly qualified to make this assessment of this product. Unfortunately, we will be returning the second one for a full refund and finding another grill for the trailer. I would like to mention in closing that the overall design and engineering of this grill is fantastic.....But the cast metal they used for the body is absolutely cheaper than cheap. Which is unfortunate for it is a nice item other than that. Unfortunately for this Designer, it is a game killer. I definitely do not recommend purchasing this product!!!

Great build quality and amazing compact grill...but can't currently connect to RV propane supply
Solid and well made very compact grill. Bought this for our RV as it is so small and fits into the storage bins really easily. So far we have been running it on the Coleman 1lb gas canisters. We grilled 4 burgers on one side of the grill and they turned out very well - it can fit about 8 burgers in total using both sides. You can run either the left side or the right side of the grill at a time. Vegetables and kabobs have also worked out well - lovely charring. This is the Apple Mac of grills - why has someone not invented this before! It comes with a Y splitter hose combined with a regulator. The problem when you want to connect this to the RV propane supply is that you can not remove the regulator from the Y hose splitter, and I can't find any other connectors or adaptors online that can get around this. So until Nomadiq can come up with an RV propane adaptor or suggest a fix then this grill can not be used with an RV low pressure propane supply (I can't remove the regulator from our RV to make the propane high pressure). UPDATE: I was emailed by Nomadiq yesterday and they are working on making an adaptor so the grill can be used with an RV, they said it would be available in about a month. So I am keeping the grill and using the canisters until this is available.

Grilling Reimagined
I'm well over 200 uses on this grill and I have to say it's held up for over 8 months now. It's really easy to use, semi-easy to clean, and generates a lot of heat to cook meat quickly. An issue I've had is that the igniter button stopped working pretty quickly so I just use a lighter to ignite the gas each time I cook. I don't mind much since the grill itself has worked like a charm. Another issue is that some of the gas coil holes have stopped producing gas/flame but it hasn't impacted the amount of heat to the grill so far. It may be because of water damage or me not cleaning thoroughly which can cause some build up. Overall a great find especially if you can get it on sale like I did.

Perfect for van camper rv
Perfect size, can stand up in the underseat storage area of my Van RV/Camper. Purchased a wind screen plates and theses covers w a handle you can use over food and it works perfect! Stronger than some other little grills I've tried. Also got the extension so it plugs straight into my RV propane. Love this thing! Steaks, chicken, veggies and breakfasts... easy breezy. Cooks for 2-3 people at a time.
