Jebao Doser 2.4 WIFI 4-Channel Auto Dosing Pump for Saltwater Reef Aquarium

Great doser for the money. Wifi model is so much easier to program. Has been running perfectly for a couple months now. Initial setup of the Wifi process is clear in the directions but I did have to try to connect a couple of times. Good to go now. Note of advice: Make sure your liquid supply jug is lower than the dosing dispense point so if a pump fails to hold pressure it won't drain the whole jug into your tank. So far so good with model ...but the older non-wifi model that I have does loose holding pressure sometimes. Until I can afford something like the Ecotech Versa I'm happy to check this pump to make sure it's working every few days. Like I said this model hasn't givin me any problems though. It's been running perfectly.

Pump doesn't connect to WiFi in either modes available (WiFi or AP). I know you can program the pump manually, but I bought it specifically for the WiFi capabilities. So overall a pretty useless, expensive product. Don't waste your money.

WiFi terrible, dosing works, calibration simple and holds. After power outage machine turns to 24 doses per day? A little apprehensive on this machine to be dosing some pretty expensive livestock. I had a the two channel machine and it worked very great though. It’s a value and it does the job until it potentially nukes my tank.

Initial wifi setup is good, but gosh if u ever need to reconnect the device for whatever reason its a nightmare. Took me more than a weekend but I have found the solution to reconnect my Jebao dosing pump model 2.4 with wifi. Here’s my solution so hopefully u don’t have to struggle like I did. It works great as a doser but gosh the wifi is so temperamental like a 14 years old teenager girl. First for your router: (these are all temporary, u can reverse to your original settings once the doser is connected) - I’m using ASUS AX11000 with Aimesh with 2 other AX11000 mesh devices - for my specific settings - disable your smart connect or whatever settings that combine your 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands together as one SSID name - then set your 2.4GHz wifi to your usual SSID name/password, NOT A NEW NAME (this will be important later once u connect the doser then re-enable smart connect setting to combine the bands and restore to ur usual wifi settings) - disable your 5GHz-1 wifi radio (If you using tri-band ASUS mesh network like mine, You can still leave your 5GHZ-2 band enabled for dedicated wireless backhaul, hide SSID for this one - this meant your mesh nodes are still functional which is important for below) - then I physically moved one of my wireless mesh node to the room of my doser pump (I think the physical distance matters for this fussy doser. the doser refuses to connect a router next room over in the initial setup, even though AFTER the initial setup, the range doesn’t matter anymore and u can move the router back - strangely it’s only the setup part that mattered) Then for your iOS device: (these are all temporary, u can reverse to your original settings once the doser is connected) - make sure wifi is connected to your 2.4GHz band once the router setup is done - needs to go into your wifi settings- turn OFF private wifi address, DISABLE limit IP address tracking - then make sure your Jebao Aqua app has EVERYTHING enabled/allowed in the settings (location, local network, Bluetooth, photos, etc EVERYTHING) - make sure when u log into Jebao set to the region u want to so the Time zone on the doser syncs (if u change time zone after u connect the machine it WOULD NOT work) - then go to ur Jebao app, add a wifi device - doser - enter ur wifi settings - next step and follow instructions to reset doser wifi ——> sometimes might not connect the first round, try again (attempt twice/three times before u reset wifi on doser again per below) for your doser: - turn off for 10s, then turn on, make sure wifi is at red light first - then press the ESC button for 5 seconds to enter wifi pairing mode, make sure it’s just done before u set up on Jebao app, attempt twice/three times before u reset wifi on ur doser again f This helped me resolve the issue

I'm so thrilled with how smoothly the setup went! It was simple and fun with the app, though you do need an older iPhone (10 or earlier) for the initial Wi-Fi connection. Totally worth it For the price

I use this device as a remote nutrient and pH up/down solution delivery system for a medium sized home hydroponics system. The system only works at 2.4ghz, as advertised. I wish it had a documented simple API for controlling it over the internet (perhaps it has one, but so far I've only tried to access the device through its proprietary app).

Just awful... Everything about this dosing pump was terrible... it feels like a cheap plastic toy... the app is garbage, kept crashing... the pump would not connect to wifi... gave up on connecting to the app, so I figured I would just program with the buttons... the buttons on the pump itself were like push the button 3 times, and it registered one... after being plugged in for about an hour, the display started flickering.... I have tried jebao wave pumps in the past, also had problems with them, then they completely died after 4 months.... maybe it's just been bad luck, and I got a faulty unit... But now after this experience with this pump, I'm never going to "try" a jebao product again... DONE !!! 00000 stars

In order to get the Wi-Fi to connect to this dosing pump I first had to download the app for my wireless router. That gave me access to the router controls. I then shut off the 5G so that my router was using only 2.4 Hz. Then I set up the pump and turned the 5G back on. After set up the pump worked perfectly and was very easy to program. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Can program 24 dosing amounts through a day or every couple days either though the app or on the build in programming screen. Wifi connected easily with the app on android. It would great if the app or built in programmer had the option to say add 24ml over the specified number of dosing times but if you want to add 24ml spread out throuout the day then you have to enter 1ml and the time 24x for the day. So tedious to program compared to the ones that cost 2-5x more. Accuracy is good but is time based, so if flow in the tubes changes due to how many bends or the location of the reservoir(s) from when you calibrated it.... Also get check valves for this as these don't hold a vacuum. Don't want tank water syphoning back or the the things you are dosing syphoning back and introducing air bubbles. Great value for the money.

llevo mas de un mes con ella y me ha funcionado muy bien, supero mis expectativas ya que he visto malas criticas,la dosificación es bastante exacta si la calibras correctamente, lo único negativo que encontré es que al principio se me complico conectarla a la red 2.4 ya que cuento con wifi mesh que unifica las 2 señales, por lo que tuve que conectar un repetidor con señal 2.4 para poderla conectar, una ves hecho esto fue muy fácil y funciona bien la aplicación, es fácil de calibrar. En unos meses mas actualizare la reseña ya que por criticas que he visto comentan que se les han descompuesto las bombas dosificadoras después de 3 meses , lo bueno que viene una de repuesto.

Get a better doser. When I was bleeding the lines of air 2 of the 4 pumps died and all 4 were really loud. Do not waste your time with this doser and look somewhere else for one.

Lo quise programar no se conecta al wifi ni ala app se apaga las dosis se ponen manual y nunca sale la cantidad programada sale mucho más o mucho menos eso afecta mucho a un arrecife

Great pump. Ordered a second. Keeps things clean now. No more syringes. Much easier to manage dosing for plant reservoirs. Don't forget to turn off automation if you leave the day value at zero otherwise it will continue to dose the same amount every day at the programmed time. Haha :)
