Yes, I'm using blue Loctite for a BlackRapid strap in a DSLR tripod screw hole. I've also used it for securing Arca-Swiss tripod plates to camera bodies.

To tell you the truth, I don't have any issues with my Conceal Carry holster screws coming loose. But if I did, Loctite 242 is the first place I would go because the idea of losing all of the screws in my Conceal Carry holster is unconscionable.

I always heat up the hardware with a heat gun. This softens the bonding, reducing strain of removals.
