Magicfly 1.4W Solar Power Garden Fountain Pool Water Pump with 3 Different Spray Heads

Was delivered on time and was packaged great. However it did not work in the fountain I bought it for it was to big.Put it in a different fountain but it moves around to much to keep spraying like it should.

Like this a whole lot better than my old fountain kit. I've got it in a deep birdbath near my deck. Really like the pump being recessed into the solar panel - no tubes like in the old one. Only use one or two of the attachments; need to keep the spray low so it won't go outside the birdbath. Only problem I had was attaching the flat head sprays to the appropriate plastic attachments - they were a bit difficult to put together. But finally accomplished it and now it is my favorite spray pattern.

I have to say that I am pretty impressed by the volume of water and the height of the fountain...when it is in full sun. It really is sensitive to the slightest shading though and should be respected for what it is. A solar fountain. It doesn't contain any sort of battery system to tide it over when it is shaded. Like others, I found that tying a piece of fishing line to a weight and to the bottom stopped the huge bullfrog in our tiny little pond from pushing it around wherever HE wanted it LOL.

It requires full sun to be functional as a fountain, otherwise it spits water off and on.

Works exactly as described. It requires full sun, and bright, unclouded skies to work, and does not have the capacity to store any of the solar energy. I use it in a shallow bird bath, without the attachments, to aerate the water and prevent algae over growth. With the attachments and a little breeze, the bird bath is quickly emptied. I hope some smart guys create one of these with the capacity to store some energy for continued operation even without the sun.

This item is as promised. Be perfect if it could store some of that solar power. I did read other reviews so I knew not to expect too much. Its solar if there isn't a cloud in the sky it works. I bought this for my birdbath. If you want the tranquil sound of running water you should purchase an electric pump or fountain. But if you want to add a little something where electricity wont reach this will work for you. Received in a timely manner. Thank you.

Even in direct sun the water on the solar panel blocks the sun and it doesn't work. I have yet to have it work more than just a squirt at a time while in sunlight.

Happy with this product. As others have said it does need full sunshine to work properly. I'm using this in a small cast aluminum bird bath I picked up at Lowes. The suction cups on the bottom wouldn't work so it simply floats on the surface. This isn't a big problem as I put several small rocks in the bird bath to hold it in the center (I had planed to put a couple of rocks in the bird bath for the smaller birds to perch on, so no harm no fowl there). The only problem was that with the spray heads attached it throws the water just high enough to toss it over the sides so that in about an hour all of the water is basically gone. This isn't a fault with the product, as the diameter of the bowl on the bird bath is very small (only 20 inches). So, I simply removed the spray head and the fountain is a pleasing little bubbler.
