Great intro to Sign Language Linguistics and Realities Deaf people face
This book is a great current overview of the research that is available at this time. If you need to understand a bit more about the Deaf world and how sign languages are integral to that world - this is a book for you. It also touches on the all important, yet little known, reality of language-deprived Deaf individuals and the affect that it has on their ability to process language.
