Excellent replacement for the OEM
Installed easily without a hitch. Hi speed and idle needle valves were pre-tuned well. I tweaked them but not sure I got them any better than the preset positions.

Worked perfect and already adjusted.
Installed and my weed eater started right up and no adjustment was needed. This was a perfect fit for my Snapper S28BC Trimmer.

Non-funtioning out of box, missing gasket for crankcase
This carburator was missing the important crankcase gasket (which allows the vaccum/pressure to pull gas out of the tank through the primer assembly), had a clogged jet/needle, and a damaged filter basket assembly (below the primer bulb housing, beneath the flange gasket, along the fuel travel path). It took over 45 minutes to get it working and tuned, and is very finicky.If you are reading this review there are better options for similar and lower prices elsewhere. Moreove,r if you don't have the splined adjustment tool and spare gasket material you may never get this to work. The manufacturer did NOT reply to my 45-day warranty claim nor did this website accept my return. Just FYI.
