Fits great - just use robogrip pliers to squeeze the gear together with the shaft. Put on the car in about 2 hours and both work great. One of my headlights didn't work before, but both ended up being cracked.

They work great, way better than the stock gm ones. And relatively easy to install

Headlight motor gears. Good product and you get both gears with bushings.

I was very excited to install these, but when I tried to put the bushings in and press everything back together, the bushings were just slightly too big in diameter. Despite the extremely small size difference, it was absolutely impossible to get everything back together using their bushings. I eventually put my motors back in with the metal gears, but for this price, I shouldn't have to look elsewhere for other parts to make it work. I have a 93 Corvette, so they should have fit properly. It was disappointing when they didn't. But knowing that I'll probably never have to change out these gears is nice. Got everything reassembled and back in place and they work perfectly. Very satisfying to see. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the fact that these are expensive and I had to resort to using OEM bushings anyway. I have read that others have had good luck with the bushings, so I'm not sure why mine didn't fit. Other than that, good quality product. I'm confident that I'll never need to replace these again

Looks like a permanent solution to a common headlight problem

Start with Criticism End with Praise.This was NOT easy to install. So keep that in mind. You'll need to be at least Mechanically proficient in order to figure out the best way to install. So, if you don’t have many tools or basic Mechanical "know how” I’d advise going with the OEM plastic/nylon option. Once you get it installed, you’ll also need to understand that the likelihood of getting this gear out is small. So any future failures will likely require the purchase of a new Motor/Gear box assembly.That Said...You can’t go wrong with this option. It works great and thus far no problems. Very happy with how it performs.

This kit, coupled with a YouTube video made this job a breeze. I replaced both sides and it took no more than an hour each. I think that these will hold up another 20 years!
