Helped me remove baseboards and window/door casing without damaging plaster!
Excellent tool! I didn't even know this tool existed. I had a bunch of baseboards to remove that was attached to old (1947) crumbly lathe and plaster so I needed a way to gently remove the baseboards without damaging the plaster. Once you score the caulk line (if it exists) to separate the baseboard from the paint gently tapping this tools thin edge gets behind the baseboard and starts **gently** extracting the nails. The further you can insert the tool behind the baseboard (or window/door trim) adds more fulcrum power and distributes the pushing power very gently. I had some boards that were original and the installer used REAL, thick nails. They weren't going anywhere. I took more time with these and let the tool do the work. If you have such a scenario don't **man-handle** and force it out using brawn. Let the tool use it fulcrum power, be patient and you wont damage the plaster. Oh, to be clear, it works very well on casing and window trim as well. Great tool for the price. Highly recommended!

Best tool for removing baseboard mouldings
Absolutely love this tool for removing baseboard mouldings, door casings, etc. Clever design allows you to remove baseboards easily without damaging the wall, and saves a lot of time over using a prybar, etc.. A nice hefty tool, heavy and strong enough to take hits from the hammer. Totally worth the money (~$30) highly recommended!

Well worthy of purchase!
I absolutely love this thing. Bought it a couple years back when I was remodeling the front half of my house. (Kitchen, family room) and have used it a few times since because it has held up and works so well. If I had to come up with a complaint, I would ask the manufacturer to use a stronger spring for the prying part. It's easy to accidentally have the backing plate and prongs separated when holding it against the wall, even if only a little, and then you damage the top of the trim. After I made that mistake though I knew to be more mindful of keeping the tool flush to the wall. So my only complaints ultimately are those of user error lol. Awesome tool. I've gotten 3 of my other friends to buy one for themselves because I didn't want to have to hassle them for it back if I loaned it to them.

Amazing- works great and easy to use!
So darn helpful and worth every cent! I got this after I pulled carpet from one of my rooms. The tack stripping needed to be removed asap, but the nails in the cement are very difficult to pull out. Thankfully, I found this tool, and it was such a huge help and easy to use. It's not too heavy, but it's sturdy and well-built; it does the trick and gets the tack stripping up in a few pulls. Quick note: Please wear eye protection. I had a near miss before I got safety glasses- a shard of wood flew right by my eye on my 1st try with this tool. It scared me straight- protect your eyes!

A long awaited perfect tool. Works like a champ!
This tool does exactly what is needed when in process of removing door/window(whatever) trim in places where the trim removal process could, but should-not/cannot damage surrounding wall surface and appearance. It's well made(strong), smooth surfaced steel, and sturdy for exerting gentle to extreme force to remove trim. I've used it on trim surrounding a totally finished doorway entering a room where careful surface work and painting had been done, and it left no marks whatsoever where used. It works on trim, long or short, and supplemental components of almost all trimwork. The good thing is once you've inserted it into an easiest access logical location and some lifting of the trim begins then the rest of the trim pc is spaced enough from the wall a bit and reuse of this tool to do the rest is extra extra easy. I definitely recommend this tool for work whether at home, new-build, re-build, or in a business. It's a very good must-have tool.

Great yes on tile
I used this on kitchen backsplash tile and it worked exactly with very little drywall removed. Light patching but at least it didn’t ruin it. Will use this on all my old tile! Great tool!!
O**!
I needed to replace some baseboards in my house, and after seeing this tool on a video streaming platform, I knew I wanted it even though I probably could have made due for the small amount I was replacing. I am happy to say this worked an absolute treat! My baseboards were held on by glue, and this made taking them off a breeze with minimal damage to the drywall. Id imagine it would be equally as easy or even easier for nailed in baseboards since you can go in between them. I opted to replace them with slightly higher baseboards to hide any potential damage, but in hindsight that was probably not necessary! The tool itself feels solid and really good quality. There were others I saw selling for double or even triple the price, and I'm glad I opted for this one. I cant say for sure whether it would hold up over lots of use, but I didn't see any real signs of wear from the 1 room of baseboards I did and bet it would work great for anyone using it for non commercial purposes. 10/ 10 would recommend, using this trim puller is oh so satisfying and makes the job a breeze!

Amazing product for removal of skirting boards in our house. Was initially using a hammer and chisel but this tool is making much lighter work of it. Very strong product and easy to use. Light enough to work for hours. Absolute steal at the price I purchased at and has saved me hours of work. Simply a case of wedging it into the skirting, give it a few knocks and start to pry off the wall.

I have found this to be a really effective tool for removing trim without damaging either the trim or the wall. I have found that if the baseboards were install with construction adhesive, it is a good idea to put a block of wood between the tool and the wall, as the adhesive holds quite well. Overall a great tool to have for a renovation project.
