Rolls RA163 8-Channel Distribution Amplifier

I'm in love with the rolls rolls! I use this Rolls to distribute 4 mornitors and they smash my room everyday. I just want to try other way to connect my monitor together and this one is a very well example to try. Comfortable price too!

The power cord clearly was the wrong one and also showed signs of being rack mounted. Small scratches on the bottom and also the +20 DB was engaged and all the knobs were already in a non uniform setting. I have asked for a replacement.

I have three of these which I use in sound reinforcement systems to distribute signal to power amplifiers. The units are quiet enough and flat enough for sound reinforcement applications, and have plenty of available gain and output level. The only real problem is the lack of stereo level controls, so that the left and right channels of a stereo signal will track each other in level. In what I'll call "Dual Mode", what you have is two mono 4x1 D/As, with separate level controls for left and right for each input. This can get very confusing in a live situation, and makes it harder to keep the two channels of a stereo pair in balance when adjusting levels. And you would not want a non-expert user to try to adjust levels in a stereo zoned system, such as a restaurant. Other than that, these are great units for their purpose.

Bought it used from amazon warehouse deals and it did not disappoint. Works great. Using it to distribute stereo signals to 3 amplifiers. Super easy setup and no noticeable sound degradation. Happy!

I'd like to give zero stars. The unit I got was clearly used and had writing in the manual. Unit has a terrible ground humm.

it is 110V :( I didn't notice that. but installed a Transformer and will try soon :)

A bit more light and compact than the competitors. Good for travel.

Works just as I need it however it may be to powerful. This thing will blow out a channel if you crank it to much. Have to keep it low.
