So I crushed my back out falling on my ass from bouldering and my tailbone and lower back were killing me. I was looking for some kind of cushion that I could use to sit at work. I stumbled across this unique looking design and figured with all the good reviews it was worth a shot. It definitely made work more bearable, It even felt great using it in my car, but it just looked too strange to be carrying around ass cushion everywhere, so then I just got another one for my car. I feel better, and the material breathes. The interesting U-shaped in the crotch area definitely gives more air in that region so you don't have swamp ass all day long, which I know happens with other cushions that just warm up way too quickly.Anyway, my back feels much better now, and I still use them. Even though I'm 5'9", having that in my office chair makes me sit higher than my co-workers, and by sitting higher, I am establishing my dominance...total power play

Hey, if you're going to fly SpiritAir you will need this. I debated on whether I should buy a more expensive one or this one, well, I took a risk with this one and for what it is, and for what I use it(airplane seats)-it works. On Jetblue you may or may not need this, but I used it anyway.

My wife has coccydynia, and she is unable to sit comfortably for more than a short time. She has had Physical Therapy, Coccyx manipulation, and takes Advil daily. She was tolerating it pretty well with her Winplus Gel Cushion from Costco for the past 3 years, but that cushion's gel hardened over time, and it is no longer available. (The new Winplus cushion is different.) . She has tried many, many cushions and the Sacrowedgy with little relief. This one is made well, but as most others, it is too firm for her small butt. Her problem excludes traveling, going to the theater, lectures, or any activity without the ability to stand up frequently. I'm sure the Dovtech will work for many.

This did not help at all. The sides curve up so it hurts the hip bone and along the side of the upper thigh. Don't buy it.

I guess it is ok if you are not skinny? I keep sliding left to right on it? At first it feels weird as nothing supports your tailbone. Yes the opening faces the back of the chair. Also went to unzip it and the zipper handle came off and the zipper split? I emailed the company and instead of sending me a new COVER they issued a full refund??So I'll get my cash back soon but still have a cushion with a busted zipper? All I wanted was a new cover or even an exchange. Weird. My chair is a wide computer chair and no matter how I try to center it. I slide left to right on it all the time.

My hubby and I have tried every seat cushion out there and this is our absolute favorite. We use in the car, on recliners, on straight-backed chairs, on benches, to keep ourselves from sliding into bucket seats and to maintain back and sitting comfort on harder surfaces.They do the trick, seem firm at first, but conforms enough to be comfortable, I am 140 lbs and hubby is 150 and they have replaced all of our other inferior cushions that we have bought from Amazon in the last two years. I am going to give out for Christmas to family at this great price. We drive mdx,crv and sienna van and actually don't mind driving due to the comfort of these.

Very effective in relieving my back pain while watching the evening news and programs for about four hours at a stretch. Can stand up without having to wait for the back to catch up.

Almost too dense and too firm too sit on for any length of time, to high for my car seat...and makes tops of my legs acheI had a friend cut it in half ..much better i would recommend 1.5 inch to be made preferably
