I've been boxing for many years and own a small boxing gym, so I've had years of experience breaking in and trying new gloves. These gloves arrived on time and were in great condition. Reyes is known for its quality in the boxing world and they take pride in their products. These gloves are no exception. They are relatively comfortable, but they take time and effort to break in. Once broken in, they will quickly become your favorite pair of gloves to spar or work on the bags with. The limited wrist support is kind of annoying, but it's a very very small down side.I definitely recommend getting a pair in either 12 or 16 oz

Quality
Comfortable and great quality. Well built and should last a long time even with heavy use. Good protection for hands and wrists.

Long lasting!
I really like these gloves. I purchased them exactly five years ago, January 2017. They still smell like leather and have never, ever gotten smelly despite the fact that I put them in my gym bag and forget about them. I would have given the comfort level a 5 vs a 4 rating; however, because I ordered a 14 oz and received a 16 oz, I found them to be a bit big for me. I didn't realize this until now and could never figure out why it was so hard for me to make a proper fist - well, it's because I was sent a size bigger. Five years ago I didn't have much knowledge about boxing and gloves, otherwise I would have sent them back and requested the 14 oz. Now I know better.I noticed that on another set of Reyes gloves review, there was a person who also received a heavier ounce gloves than what he ordered. I wonder if that's the norm. Maybe they run small. I'm thinking of ordering a 12 oz set and maybe I'll get the 14 oz. Ha ha! :DAnyway, my gloves have finally started to show their wear - the inner sewing at the tip of the fingers has started to come apart and is causing me pain. Five years is a long time! I'm happy that I have had them despite the fact that they were a bit too big for me.

Great
4.5 stars. Very comfortable. Padding isn't the thickest so I worry about longevity but very durable otherwise.

Good quality gloves for sure
Much much heavier with stiffer padding than the 12 oz Topboxer win1 gloves i own. Product arrived fine. I can see why these are not used for sparring as it gets really hard- not good for your sparring partner. Thumb compartment is also slightly extended out forcing you to clinch a fist whenever you throw a punch. Look fwd to breaking it in.

Wrong weight
We ordered 12oz gloves and they felt really heavy although the tag specified 12oz. We weighed them and they turned out to be close to 18oz. Still waiting on refund. The quality is actually fantastic other than wrong weight.
