Linnea in Monet's Garden Cloth Doll 11.5"

My cousins in Denmark have given Linneas to their young granddaughters, and I just had to have one too! She is a well made cloth doll with woolen hair, a straw hat and removable clothing. You can buy changes of clothing for her, and even a smaller version who fills the role of little sister nicely!I love this doll, as do the little girls I know who own them. She is a throwback to when dolls were simply vehicles for peoples' imaginations, without imposing their own noise and technological quirks on the scene. This doll has no figure; it is easy for children and their grannies to create new outfits for her!!Linnea has her own series of books, the original, and most appealing one, being Linnea in Monet's Garden.

Very cute doll! Kind of pricey! We were adopting a girl from China and we named her Linnea. As this doll has dark hair and an Asian look, we thought it was perfect for her room.

My grandaughter refers to Linnea as "the little girl" as they play puppet theatre with dinosaurs! A dolly with whimsical hair and endless possibilities for real play. Nice size .
