Love This.
My boyfriend had this set and I was helping him work on our bicycles to tighten gears, etc. I fell in love with the ease of use that this set provides. Boyfriend left his tool set on the boat, and out in the rain, gradually lost the screwdriver bits, and the tools became rusty and icky. Still totally functional though. (minus the bits gone AWOL). Now i am a girly girl, but I'm also pretty handy. So I decided I wanted the same tool set of my own, for when boyfriend and I move in together. I didn't trust him not to lose or "mistreat" a new set so I'm keeping it for my own. We both love using the screwdriver and wrench for around-the-house projects. Haven't really had a use for the socket wrench yet, but when I used it on the bikes that day, it made the job so much easier, and even fun!

So-So
Fist of all, you shouldn't be spending more than three fins for this. That being said, you get a set of okay tools you don't have to worry about getting damaged/stolen. The adjustable wrench's thumb wheel could be smoother, the screwdriver could do without the ratchet altogether, and the ratchet wrench could probably do without the 1/4 drive & just have the user rely on the provided 3/8 to 1/4 adapter. The ratchet by the way, has a poorly designed switch, which in my case ultimately failed after losing it's retaining... rivet/pin. I was able to exchange this set (with no issue) after said ratchet failed from the home improvement store of which Husky is a house brand. This set has been discontinued and is replaced by a 46 piece set which is of similar quality.

What is that thing hanging there? Oh, a ratchet.
Nothing special here. It doesn't scream "high quality" but it gets the job done. Sockets, screwdriver with insert bits, and an adjustable wrench. When I get something better, this set will live in the trunk of my car. I have one gripe to warrant four stars. See that weird thing hanging off the side of the neat little case? That's the ratchet. This has troubled me for some time. On the one hand, this packaging might be meant so you can play around with the ratchet while you're in the store to see how it works. On the other hand, I would think 99.99% of people who buy this have at least a cursory knowledge of how ratchets work. At any rate, after you purchase this, the ratchet still hangs there. It's like a pizza delivery guy you delivers your meal, you pay, and he stands there watching you eat. It's time to go, ratchet! Unfortunately, it has nowhere to go, and when you inevitably have had enough and finally throw the ratchet into a tool box, the plastic holder for the ratchet will still be there, taunting you. In closing, I hope whoever designed this case, forgot to include room for the ratchet, and decided to "just go with it," has been fired from his or her job and is now delivering pizza (no offense to pizza delivery people). PS, you might want to check around on prices.

excellent
A great socket set. Clever in design and great for all the bolts and nuts in hard to reach spots and medium/ small jobs around the house. If you are looking for a set with a lot of leverage to crank you may want to keep searching. Does exactly as description says. The fact that the socket wrench comes with its own wrench is brilliant. Excellent set. Highly recommend it.

Nice carry-along basics.
This is an excellent basic tool kit when storage space in limited. I keep it under the seat of my scooter on long rides and I have used it, along with a few additional carry-along tools, to get my scooter running again after breakdowns. If you put the tools into a bag, it can be stored in an even smaller space.

Husky 45 Piece Stubby Handle Wrench and Socket Set
I bought this tool set as a Christmas gift for my adult son, I have had this same set for about three years now and I use it all the time for light duty maintenance projects around the home.

Great product, great value!
Got this to replace the set that I lost. There's a reason why I got it again - it's well worth it! Has all I need, great product at a great price.
