I felt like it helped me comfortably stretch out a little further and reach balls that others probably couldn't reach. I loaned it to a friend or daughter at some point... and never got it back. Now I'm retired and have more time to pay attention to physical activity again. I'm thrilled the book is still available, and not surprised it's considered a classic. Classic, and still the best.
My favorite book for stretching. I like the overall approach, and each stretch has a good narrative description of how to do it, and nice hand drawn pictures.

This book has great stretches for your whole body.
Time the time I have been using this book and it’s stretching exercises. It has made me feel much better and much more limber. It has great exercises for all kinds of different activities.

When my muscles throughout my body became tight, I knew that I needed to stretch them. I own a much earlier version of this book and couldn’t find it. So, I purchased this one and followed the bed stretches and feel so much better. The illustrations and written instructions are clear and easy to follow. I just shared with my husband who has a neurological disease that causes the muscles in his legs in particular to be tight. He’s looking forward to doing these exercises as well.

This is a great book, which I'm always banging on about to my friends! Loads of different stretches for different parts of the body, really clear instructions and illustrations. Lots of different routines, which means you don't get bored doing the same thing every day.
