🔥 Press Your Way to Perfection!
The Janome Artistic Elna Heat Press EP100 features a significantly larger ironing surface, allowing for efficient and comfortable ironing while seated. It applies 100 lbs of pressure, making it a powerful alternative to traditional irons, all while being gentle on fabrics.

Excellent press for ironing clothes or applying artistic embellishments
I dread ironing so much that I've rarely used my ironing board and have either chosen to wear my clothes wrinkled or avoided wearing those clothes altogether. I wanted take the drudgery out ironing so I took a risk (after months of consideration) and decided to spend a lot of money on this unit. I was going to purchase the Steamfast SF-623BK Mid-Size Fabric Steam Press but its small size is too limiting and would cause me to take a long time to iron one article of clothing. This Elna (labeled on Amazon as Janome) heat press has an ironing surface that is about 3/4 the size of a full-size ironing board and it works perfectly. There's space in the back of the unit so that the clothing can be pulled forward as it's pressed.I absolutely love this. The unit takes about 10 minutes to heat up when on the highest (cotton) setting. Once heated, it is easy to use and my garments come out as if they were pressed by a cleaner. The DVD supplied with this provides a silent presentation (with the same music playing in the background) that demonstrates how to iron various articles of clothing, patches or crystals, and how to operate the unit. I would have preferred a talking demonstration without the music but it is sufficient as is. There's also an instruction manual, a padded square that helps with ironing tight spots like cuffs or the shoulder area, and a spray bottle. The spray bottle is used to spray down the clothes with water (especially cotton) before pressing to create the appropriate amount of steam. The unit locks in place for carrying but is a bit heavy to carry around.Overall I am thrilled with my purchase even though I consider this very expensive. I'm looking forward to getting years of use out of it and might even use it to embellish some of my clothes with patches or crystals.

Good not great
For small flat items, easy to use and great job pressing. This is napkins, pillow cases, tablecloths, even flat sheets. The negative is that the board and press are smaller than i would have liked so king sheets are difficult

Missing spray bottle.
I am happy with the press as it does what I expected it to. However, I thought I was receiving a spray bottle as well. I did receive the small foam block used for cuffs which is no use to me as I am using the press only for fabric.

Simple, Quick and Back to Looking Good!
OK being a guy how exciting or necessary is a clothing press? I used to iron my shirts with moderate success. Nothing like having your iron spit up rusty water on an almost finished white shirt. Well over the years I have been ironing less and less as I usually wear jeans, cargo pants and sport shirts. Decided time to get a bit more crisp. So researching the various presses, I was worried about longevity and ease of use. The built in steamers seem to have issues. Well the Janome Heat press seemed to have positive reviews. It is a bit more money but I always buy the best tools and this is merely another home tool to me. The Janome press was double boxed and packed well so there is no chance of damage. It looked a bit more compact that I thought and the weight is manageable. So I put it up on the kitchen counter and got a few sport shirts. I just misted them and like magic, they looked good. The spray bottle really puts out a light spray so it does not soak like many spray bottles.OK so I got some white heavy weight t shirts. They really wrinkle up. In the press they looked good. The pockets were crisp and flat like they were when new. All you do is pull down the handle and then use the small handle to release. I tried using over 10 seconds and then down to 5 seconds. Seems like less time does just as good as a job. OK then I got a pair of cargo pants and set the seams and flattened the pockets. Easy. The unit heats up quickly. When I go get more stuff I just unplug it and then plug it back in when I return. Never know how much time I would be away and figure it saves a few pennies. The temperature holds and there was no waiting time. So having so much fun I grabbed some boxer shorts and pressed a bunch. The press is idiot proof and goes a great job. I even had a few that were damp from the washer and they pressed great. Just laid them out to let them completely dry. I would say that ironing time is reduced by 3/4 at least. All that moving of the iron and the clothes is time consuming. It is very easy and you develop various ways of placing clothes that makes it efficient. Plus I can watch TV and not really pay much attention to pressing. With an iron you are always looking at what you are doing and getting tangled up by the cord. All I can say is why didn't I buy this years ago?

Stopped heating after 6 weeks
When it worked it was great but after only 6 weeks no longer heating. And yes I unplugged waited a few minutes and tried again. I looked on Janome website for tech support but model not listed. I also bought the Asurion warranty but their site does not list model either. Past the 30 day Return policy by Amazon. Not sure how to proceed.

Product was used and not very durable
The product was working but it was used. Press was not in plastic bags, just in a box and when I was ready to use it, I noticed two huge spots in the upper board, at the ironing surface. It was like that something was stucked there from a previous user. The handle is cheaply made, so much that I was afraid that I will brake it. I had an Elna press before , so no comparison....

Heavy
I found the product to be quite cumbersome and heavy although I’m an older person.
