Q: I've got some scientist friends in cryosleep. Would this be good for monitoring their vitals and automatically adjusting settings as necessary?

Get the updated HAL 9100. The 9000 had some software issues that have been resolved with the 9100.

Q: Is this a finished replica, or do you need to assemble and paint?

A: Pretty simple kit to paint and assemble. Only six pieces (not including the stand; but you’ll want to hang it on a wall, anyway). You’ll need model cement and primer & paint: flat black, silver and/or aluminum, semi-gloss black and gunmetal.

Q: Is any soldering necessary to attach the sound module's wires, or are the connections pre-soldered or attached some other way? I can't solder.
