Not much to say, for the money it’s a great buy.If you need bullet proof, then spend the coin. If you need a decent, residential double cylinder dead bolt this is a good choice.When installing, each section must be properly timed when you assemble or it will not function.Read the instructions.

After about 6 months of use (only about once a week) the Kwikset key broke off in the lock and couldn't be removed. I bought this to replace it and the keys for this one are definitely much sturdier! Also, the other lock had facing pieces that made it more complicated to install and it didn't look any nicer than this one. This looks great with the black iron of our gate. The instructions were simple, the only thing I would say is that the outside piece without the screws has a torque piece that should be inserted vertically, for the inside piece with the screws the torque piece needs to go horizontal. The instructions weren't really clear on that an it took a few tries to get both sides of the lock to work correctly.

Easy to install. I had to grind out the bolt opening in my door but that’s easy enough to do. Fit in finally and installed quickly.

Looks good and works fine. I ordered two locks and one is not a smooth when inserting and turning the key to lock or in lock. But it’s not a big deal because it does the job.

The product was what I was looking for except that I needed three locks keyed alike and they are not sold that way. I had to pay $10 each to get them re-keyed at Home Depot. They are working well and once I got the hang of it they were not too hard to install.

Looked nice, but difficult to install, should have been an easy job. Inside cylinder difficult to line up with outside cylinder. When I did get assembled, inside cylinder would not fully extend lock bolt, although outside cylinder worked fine.

Had no problems installing. Look nice on doors. Replaced locks that were at house, that I had no key for and for turn knob one.

It’s a deadbolt and it does what it should! Easy to instal,only took a couple minutes. Looks good on the door,we bought it to match a new doorknob. Key is smooth,doesn’t catch or anything like the old deadbolt we had.

The locks worke great I installed the had to drill out the holes little bigger so they would fit other than that works great

A door bolt is only as secure as the door frame latch ..Be careful to orientate the latch bolt correctly.Use # 10 X 6 inch woodscrews in strike plate and additionally through door frame above and below strike plate location.

Installation requires paying attention to instructions. Works well but keys do not go in that easily at times. Still recommend them.

The lock itself is great, hard to find this kind of lock, even online, but the installation was horrible. I have rental properties and have changed countless locks now but this one almost had me beat. I honestly don’t know what happened, I just kept trying and trying and somehow it finally worked. Took well over a hour for me when I can do a keyless lock in 15 min tops.
