I did not need anything fancy, just a handle to flush the toilet with so I could put the top back on and stop doing it manually. This one was more of a "one size fits all" but I did also take a picture of the old one to compare and they looked pretty much the same. Installed in probably 5 minutes tops. How long it will last...been on since July and still going.

Good inexpensive direct replacement. The nut that allows you to take it apart for install was stuck on pretty tight on mine when it arrived. I had to take some pliers to it and was afraid it would break, but it came loose eventually with no damage. The plastic feels cheap, but since it's not metal it will not have the corrosion problems that usually kill handles.

After two years it's still going strong! After my last lever broke and my toilet ate the attached chain, I thought I'd I get it in plastic opposed to a metal flush lever, that it could solve the issue, and it did! Installation was straight forward and I'm not sure just how different my toilet is to others, but I don't even need the chain anymore.

Purchased to replace broken flush lever (plastic arm snapped) on American Standard toilet in guest bathroom. Super easy to install, fit perfectly, but handle stripped out within 3 months (i.e., now if you flush the toilet, the internal arm does nothing). And that was 3 months in the guest bathroom which is rarely used. I have seen lots of other great reviews — maybe I just got a dud :)

It took me about 1 to 2 minutes to install this. My other flush lever looked just like this one with the same handle. However the old one had a black lever with hollow slits. The hollow slits is where the plastic eventually broke. This lever is white and has no slits. So this lever should last a long time. It also has a plastic nut like my last one so no hard to remove rusted on metal nut "in case I have to remove this lever in the future".

Similar construction to the previous arm that broke. Hope it lasts. This also did not fit my Delta 1.28gpf toilet without me having to modify it the the last rung on the chain to get it to work. It also seems to not flush correctly because the angle is not enough/correct. After using and if there is still a problem, I may have to add another extension to the chain to see if that fixes it. We needed this to replace the plastic lever that broke inside the tank of our Sterling toilet. This is almost an exact replacement for the lever and handle it replaced. The handle did not fit the fitting as smoothly as the handle it replaced but with a little bit of pressure the new handle popped into place nicely. We were able to replace the old handle and lever in less than 5 minutes. Overall, great replacement part.I don't think it is worth knocking off a star for but I do think that having a basic instruction sheet in the bag would likely be helpful for users who have never replaced a handle and lever before.
